Hello fellow DotArians,

In the spirit of quality Malaysian e-Sports, I'm proud to announce yet another huge LAN DotA tournament that will be held, this time in AKICOM Cyber Cafe in Taman Connaught, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. As co-organizer of the tournament, I'm also happy to add that a massive prize pool of RM 10,000 will be allocated for the winners. However, I am conducting an RSVP among the community to see how many teams will be interested to join.

Below are the tentative details:

Prize allocation:

First prize: RM 5,000
Second prize: RM 2,000
Third prize: RM 1,000
Tournament format:
- It will be an OPEN tournament whereby NO teams will be banned!
- Map version: 6.67c -CM Mode
- Team slots: 32
- Standard set of rules apply.
- No seedings; lucky draw applied

Date, Day, Time:
- 11 & 12 September 2010 (Saturday and Sunday)  <-- Any clashes? It's during Raya celebrations.

Registration Fees:
- Anywhere between RM 100.
- Payment can be made anytime before the commencement of the tournament, our bank account details will be posted soon.

AKICOM Home Team:
- You read that right. AKICOM is also planning to scout for a potential team during the tournament to sponsor. Terms of sponsorship have yet to be decided, but the team will most probably receive gaming hardware, free training and such.

Prize Payout:
- There will be no play first, pay you later bull crap. The top 3 winners will be REWARDED immediately.

Reminder: Interested team leaders you may start reserving slots now. I just received confirmation that the sponsor wants the competition launched soon after we hit the 32 limit team quota.
