Below are the confirmed details:

Prize allocation:

First prize: RM 5,000
Second prize: RM 2,000
Third prize: RM 1,000
Fourth prize: Warcraft Battle Chest x5


Tournament format:
- It will be an OPEN tournament whereby NO teams will be banned!
- Map version: 6.68c -CM Mode
- Team slots: 32
- Standard set of rules apply.
- No seedings; lucky draw applied

Date, Day, Time:
- 11 & 12 September 2010 (Saturday and Sunday)
- 10:30 am check-in and draw lots
- 12:00 pm 1st round of matches begin

Registration Fees:
- RM 100.
- Payment Details (Bank-in):


AKICOM Home Team:
- You read that right. AKICOM is also planning to scout for a potential team during the tournament to sponsor. Terms of sponsorship have yet to be decided, but the team will most probably receive gaming hardware, free training and such.

Prize Payout:
- There will be no play first, pay you later bull crap. The top 3 winners will be REWARDED immediately.

Hi yaGu.yaGu, I found an old Taman Connaught map and attached it to my first post.

Will try to confirm the registration fees by today, I don't think it will reach 3 digits... RM 50-75 u guys willing to pay? Also, please join this Open tournament even if it's not just for amateurs. It's good exposure and good fun!

Hi, the new proposed date is 11 and 12 September (Friday and Saturday). Are all teams free? Sorry to disappoint but the registration fees will be RM 80 - 100. But you're still paying a small amount to stand a chance and win a lot of money!

Hi KoaLa-BeaR, thanks for your suggestion. We will consider reducing the registration fees but for now it's RM 80. The prize won't be reduced because we have the money ready.

We are still lacking 20+ teams. I heard from some amateur teams that they will not join because they will surely lose. Would you guys prefer that AKICOM bans top teams/players?

Solution make best out of 3match or groupings or loser bracket but it wil spend alot time
