@Agito666: If it's iPod Touch, it also states from "iPhone". I doubt anyone bothers whether it shows "iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad" unless you wanna show off. doh.gif

@bidfordun: You don't need to be JB-ed to use "Senuti".

@karwaidotnet: It went from 40% to 100% overnight because the iPad will charge through USB-port when it's in "Sleep Mode".

Maxis has 3G coverage during most of the stretch of North-South Expressway. Not sure which part doesn't have coverage but most parts have it.

@destfull: You can't live without your iMac. The iPad isn't meant to be a desktop/laptop replacement. It's hardware specifications are too measly compared to a full-fledged computer like a MacBook Pro or an iMac.

Added on September 26, 2010, 8:40 pm@spacerx: It was speculated to be launched when Maxis/Digi launches the iPhone 4 (which was last Thursday) but it seems it wasn't. Seems like you'll have to get it from other countries.

@fruitie: I recommend that you get a case. The case and a screen protector are essential items that SHOULD be purchased with your iPad to protect it from scratches, bumps and worst of all, falls. Just my 2 cents. The official Apple iPad case is something nice to begin with.

@frutie: What phone are you using? If you are using an Android-based phone you can enable your phone to become a "Wi-Fi Hotspot". Even if you're using an iPhone you can tether your Internet to your iPad but your iPhone has to be jailbroken. Just my 2 cents, hope I've helped with your temporary Mi-Fi woes.

If you guys wanna get a stylus for your iPad.
I recommend that you search in YouTube for "DIY iPad Stylus".
I made it with household items in less than a minute and it works fine!

@fruitie: Congratulations. Don't forget to protect your little toy with a screen protector and a case!

@fruitie:
1. In "Settings" -> App Store -> Sign Out.
2. In the App Store (app) -> Change location to "US" (bottom left) -> Download a free app -> Select "None" for payment" -> Create a new account -> Enter fake US-based details (location, etc, etc). Just trying to help. I hope it works.
I've got 3 iTunes accounts. One for US, one for Malaysia and another one for Malaysia with credit card attached.

@fruitie: I mean that if you have already signed in the App Store app with your MY iTunes account, you must log out of it.

@Amanda99: The iOS 4.2 with "Multitasking" for iPad is coming out on November. I recommend that you just wait another month for official multitasking. Besides, if you're on iOS 3.2.2, you can't jailbreak.

@mjoe: Are you referring to registering our iPad's "UDID" under an "Apple Developer Account" to update to 4.2 Beta 2? Thanks in advance.

@giovanni: Are you sure there are rampant cases of "dead pixels" on the iPhone 4? I've been surfing the iPhone 4 threads in the "iPhone-section" of LYN but I don't notice many people encountering issues with "dead pixels". AFAIK, there is only 1 user experiencing a-single-"dead pixel" on his iPhone 4 from Maxis.

I also haven't heard of anyone from LYN-forum encountering "dead pixles" on their iPad.You should just check your device (iPhone/iPad) for "dead pixels", during your purchase. I hope you understand.

Added on September 30, 2010, 9:41 am@ahhann: The iPad is running on 802.11N-Wireless. If your router is also 802.11N-Wireless, then you should be experiencing good wireless signals unless there are a lot of walls/concrete walls. Just my 2 cents.
