Btw, i am using Friendly for facebook most of the time to enjoy fb updates/chatting.
Built in video to view instead of open Safari to watch the video in FB.
Now also got built in google pop up window in case you want to have quick surfing.

Its cheap & easy to use. Latest updates allow multiple accounts too.

Give it a try.

If you don't have a ideal portable laptop, ipad is a pricey gadget to invest.

If you already have one laptop but it is heavy to bring around. And your common outdoor computing activities just plainly surfing net.

Ipad is good for that due to its bigger screen.

Somehow, iphone can do pretty good in surfing net & gaming compare to what ipad can. If you just want quick checking your email & facebook.

Iphone allow to aim & shoot then upload your picture instantly. Ipad don't have camera for this convenient.

Somemore import pictures into ipad is a troublesome steps. You can google about it. It's a letdown to people who like to store alot of pictures constantly on ipad.

Holding an ipad around 10mins is tired your arm.

My common activities after having it for 3 months -
40%- surfing net. (For facebook viewing pictures & quick comment)
20% - pdf magazine/comic reading
20% - gaming
15% - Movies watching
5% - Sketching on Brushes/Autodesk Sketchbook

Haha.. i spent less time in making ipad as a productive tool instead of an entertainment gadget most of the time.

I prefer to do all my work on Laptop to be frank.

They will be alot of apps to make ipad a wonderful tool or a boring gadget. Depends on the user creativity.

The most impressive thing is the long battery life. 1 charge allow 10 hours of activities for you to waste with an ipad.

p/s: Remember you have to spent money on Apps to make Ipad a "fully functionality" machine.

You already have the iphone might as well wait for the next ipad and see how is the hardware upgrade.

I don't have an iphone so its fine for me to have one of this Touch screen Fun time gadget.

I scare of exposing it at crowded place. Inside restaurant or cafe still ok. You can do whatever u want with iphone at any situation you prefer.
My colleagues play iphone games whenever they want during working hour. Until now i don't expose it in the office. It is such a 'luxury' toy to show off still.

Ipad is obviously attracting like a butterfly. I tried before and i don't really enjoy the attention like this. You never know what kind of peoples are watching at you.

I am contented with what ipad can do to make it blend into my life style. I also understand what is not convenient to do with it now. haha.

You buy stuff which you can afford to suit your need more than want.

Else you gonna regret every once a year during the upgrade of the product.

haha..who knows the next ipad 2 is going to wait until Q4 2011.

I rather use my hard earn money to buy the apps with sense & in necessary. Only such direct way can make applications developer keep growing stronger in funding and further pushing the potential of ipad in future..

Btw, the apps is not few hundred ringgit. Think bout USD0.99 you gain such a good effort & wonderful product. You saved a few ringgit in a week then u can own it..

For certain apps, they got Free lite version to test too.

Probably this is the most directive & affordable way to support fantastic hardwork from the apps developers/publishers.

We should make em survive like how they make apple iphone/ipad become more interesting gadget than others.

Paiseh..i was a fellow who considered USD0.99 could be a waste of my money. That was when i just got my ipad. I am in the midst how to make this gadget created wonder for me. Too Crazy alot apps which will make me feels want to try every fantastic applications in the store.

Initially i spent on necessary apps which i read the description inside itunes stores. Sometimes it might not be the right apps which do the stuffs we thought of.

Theh, I found out Youtubes got a lot of live videos to review and show us how those apps perform on ipad. It make myself make decision much more careful than before. Majority the famous apps is easy to find their reviews.

After 3months, i guess i spent roughly rm150 for the installed apps. To me, the expenses will be less than a prepaid top up of Rm30 per month.

its a letdown to me when i was tried to drag n drop any pictures i want into ipad doesn't allow.

it is possible only when you store all pictures into one computer.So, itunes can sync from the backup for new added items. Else, it 'erase' pictures in ipad and update from the computer.

What i did is get dropbox account. Purchased Photo Org app. Saved favourite pictures from dropbox once login from ipad. Manually created new folders for each categories. It got me tired after a while. haha.. I retired cause i found out browsing thru sliding gallery is more faster in rendering images on default photo app.

In the end, i ended up using Saved Photos folder again. If not mistaken, this is the same management on ipod too.
