i manage to prove apple ibuds (rm90?) to perform marginally below hippo groove (rm59)

shroom EB is one of the most sensible cant go wrong choices, it doesnt really have much to fault, and does a lot of things well.

if possible, i recommend going for shroom eb. at least u'll enjoy and stop ur upgraditis urge for a long while.
if u really really cant, the pearl would be a good choice. it's a bit muddy sounding, in other words, not as clean and clear sounding as shroom eb, but also quite balanced and also does a lot of things right.

just put it this way.. if bass is important,
there will only be subwoofer on all speakers world wide.
but that's not the case.
since bass speakers are not good in producing treble, no matter how much you eq.
similarly, treble tweeters are not capable of producing bass.

for single speaker, it's best to get a balanced sounding.
the same applies to most headphones and earphones.

funny u can fit tf10.. but not eq7. tf10 is way fatter and longer than eq7..

the cable came from inside the speaker box.. unless i found a way to open the box.. i wont be touching the cable.

it's multi amp, 32ohm surround (not in pics, not used) 6ohm high and 6ohm lows..
so i'll be needing some bi-amp to power it, will be using stock amp which is quite good.

and..
contrary to boom bass.. i got sub-bass..

figures.. someone said that already in head-fi after having and comparing them both.. just to get bashed. that's head-fi for u.. too much hype. now seems like a lot of people that owned em sold it already.
