QUOTE(cubchai @ Jul 28 2005, 12:43 PM) when i use mantarays, memtest of RAM 180Mhz at lose timings oso cannot. i remembered before mantarays, i can do higher than 180. this weekend going to kl lor, my fren offer me his pc to hotflash. i asked around many shops in my hometown on hot flash. all shops suggested me to download bios, put in floppy and flash lor. then i told them ok ok, i will try if my pc can boot up. floppy and flash is hard thing to do ler! better hotflash. pitty you. BTW:d26 mantarays xt 2t can give me ram 2.8v timming 2-2-2-11,,, + fsb max is 230 ,,,, before this i use stock bios can't do it.,,, and all this with rm45 450W psu. QUOTE(cubchai @ Jul 28 2005, 02:21 PM) My RAM DDR333 only. I'm not aiming for superb high FSB, 200-220, i happy liao. i bringing only the bios chip to hotflash. damn panic, if after the hotflash, bring back hometown still cant boot up. i was considering bringing the mobo along. we all here wanna wish u the best of luck. it's a quite risky job to do.

QUOTE(Dead__Man @ Jul 28 2005, 07:31 PM) Is there anyway to maximize the potential of a mobo? Mine seems to max out at 225Mhz. Anything over, Prime95 fails at exactly 7 minutes. Always exactly 7 Minutes. Check my sig for my specs. Oh, and I'm using D26 Mantarays XT 2T. "vCore Fluctuation Fix" how did you do that ? BTW: try to feed your cpu with more voltage.

QUOTE(Radeon @ Jul 29 2005, 08:34 AM) well the apic is a long debated issue btw mr47 why your d43 can do 2-2-2 timings? when i change from stock bios to mantaray xt 2t it just does! before that cannot,,,,,, even if i feed it with 2.9V and low fsb now is okay,,,,, can do 2-2-2-11 2.8v at max stable fsb 230 x 11 .. but i just use 210 coz the temp for 230 is too high,,, reach 57+ now very happy This post has been edited by Mr_47: Jul 31 2005, 12:56 AM

QUOTE(HiT-AbLe @ Sep 1 2005, 04:25 PM) Really? Last time I heard AXP and barton can tahan quite high temp. bro,,, the max temp for athlon xp is around 80-90 C but in your case sufing with 59 C,,, thats too high,,,, BTW:59 C with full load of playing game that's normal. and surfing must be around 40-50 C,,, and we are talking about cpu temp. QUOTE(Cyclone87 @ Sep 3 2005, 09:36 AM) Yup. it 2.9v in the bios, but it will have 0.1v Overvolt on the vdimm. So it 3v actually. wrong,,, its 0.2v,,,,, so if it set to 2.9=3.1,,,2.8=3.0,,,2.7=2.9 BTW: kaneboy85 try change your bios to mantarays xt. This post has been edited by Mr_47: Sep 3 2005, 11:17 AM
