What's an oricore st-66?

i upgrade to newer firmware (from kies) but it seem like new firmware slowing down my phone .... any idea ?
current firmware i9000DXJG4 .....

btw i try the gps fix (front page) it doesn't help

About the GPS, I guess if you're just using it on its own without any comparisons, it is OK. I've placed my Galaxy S (JM2, with GPS fix) next to a Desire with both running GPS Test. The Desire typically finds up to 10 satellites and starts locking on to 5-6 while the Galaxy struggles to find more than 3-4 satellites and yet it still refuses to lock.

The Desire also seems to hold on to satellite locks much better, the Galaxy is all over the place.. locking-unlocking, losing satellites. It's quite painful to watch. I'll try and snap a pic the next time I do a comparison.

So as always, YMMV. Not a scientific comparison by any means. It could just be my unit. It could be something in the air. Or just plain bad juju. Beats me.

btw, mystombox, jujx, and all bro, if i change my ringtones folder name to .ringtones, will the system still able to show these ringtones wehn i click on setting/voice call ringtone setting ?

can anyone answer my question? i want to know the price for 8gb n  16gb.. gonna go buy today.. but want to survey the price 1st, so not gonna get cheat..

downloading JH1.. hopefully it's a better rom than the others.

all i can see the price there are for 16gb.. i prefer a smaller capacity which is 8gb since the memory is expandable via sd card..

I have 2 other colleagues in the office using SGS phones. I have updated all 3 of our phones here to I9000TGYJH1 a few days back.

The first thing my colleagues noticed was that the Chinese input system was better than the one in the SEA firmware. I personally don't use Chinese input so I can't comment any more on this.

Also, the H1 firmware feels less laggy (overall) than the G4 or G8 firmwares.

Maxis only selling 16GB version. Check their website. And only Maxis got rights to sell the Galaxy S.

8GB is only water sets. Can find in Garage Sales.

That's weird cause I ask in LYP and they all said only Maxis selling the SGS. Even the Samsung booth at the ground floor don't have SGS display there. Weird Or maybe the exclusive rights is ending d

so far the pros is the phone is real fast. and i havent apply any lagfix yet. but dunno, maybe it still too early to judge how fast it is.
and cons.. so far none. and hopefully there is none.

why dont u use 512?

The HP only has either 8GB or 16GB internal memory.

If yr friend says it's 14GB, then it's 8GB internal + 6GB external sd card.
