No. Your 32'in Samsung LCD TV will evolve to 55'in Samsung LED TV for sure.

A lot of smart alec here. If dunno anything just don't post. That way U save server space and avoid giving wrong information to others. If your HDTV is 1080p COMPATIBLE, it will just scale the source to your native panel resolution (1024*768 or 1280*720 or 1388*768). If it is not 1080p compatible, worst thing that can happen is it will show NO SIGNAL or source not compatible type of message on the display.

if signal is 1080p, but ur tv only support 720p.. nothing will happen.. you tv received more digital signal (binary bit) than required.. what is does is take only the important signal and dump the extra signals/bits..
actually, there's more than that..but. it's pretty much works like that.. or for detail, search down-scaling or down-sampling..

If your TV can support the input of 1080p signal and display then there is no issue what so ever like my SONY BRAVIA 32" which is HD Ready.
When your TV is not Full HD and cannot support FULL HD Signal then it will display "Resolution not supported"
Else your TV will work fine just blast FULL1080p signal no worries.... the component in your TV is fully tested to support this resolution and manufacturer would NOT jepordise their brand name on few overheat chips... if the TV can display then the TV can take the heat simple....
