Polo 1.2T vs Pug 308 1.6T. In terms of power and size,308 wins hands down.but when it comes to maintenance and aftersales services VW is much better,IMHO.
Added on August 11, 2010, 6:54 pmGet the polo GTI,then you can smoke them all ekekeke...

QUOTE(stinger82 @ Sep 7 2010, 11:32 AM) for RM6000, this result is impressive, worth every penny la. Unitronic chip is cheaper.....and power delivery is smoother...

Polo 1.2 is overrated. If you want to experience power in a Polo, you can try Polo GTI....1.8T is real good,to make it better, you can always chip it.Then you'll get around 180-200bhp,depend on which chip you're getting. The 1.2T is as good as 1.6 NA,IMHO... Thanks

QUOTE(stevencbk @ Jan 17 2011, 05:52 PM) Hi all, Did anyone came across to up-size to original Golf's RIMs? I have a doubt that Polo can fit the original wheels! Say, the sizes are varied from ... 16" Golf TSI rims:Wheel size 6.5J x 16 Tyre size 205/55 R16 Polo 15" rims measurement:Wheel size 6J x 15 Tyre size 195/55 R15 Any thought folks? FYI, PCD for Golf is 5x112 And PCD for Polo is 5x100 Theoritically, can't fit,and not interchangable. Tyre size and the width of the rims are secondary if you're looking for fitment. thanks

QUOTE(jwrx @ Feb 10 2011, 05:11 PM) how much is the 08 polo gti going for now? cos to be honest, the old polo is almost 2.5 generations old, so its quite outdated in terms of engine tech, chassis and interior etc. so unless its really cheap ie value for money, i would go for a new polo tsi IMHO, 9N3 (GTI '08) is more powerful and a manual shifter makes it more of a driver's car.And by using older technology makes it easier to maintain, you can even go to any private garage/mechanic to maintain it... New Polo's DSG can be irritating sometimes...IMHO..

QUOTE(jwrx @ Feb 16 2011, 06:16 PM) cannot rate a 3S based on net postings, cos ppl with issues/complaints ALWAYS will post...but ppl who are happy with service, normally dun bother. The negatives always show up more on the net fyi, wearnes sg besi actually wont best service centre among all VW 3S as voted by actual VW customers in 2010 and 2009 euromobil is a Audi 3S and very very very busy with audi's sadly, imo all VW 3S will be giving shitty service for the next few months, as they grapple with staff shortage and overflow of cars, just go to the VW 3S most convenient to you, dont go to a 3S based on recommendations..as staff will leave, managers get transfered etc, good 3S become bad....bad 3S improve etc Added on February 16, 2011, 6:20 pmwhy would you want to do that? remapping isnt something you want someone far away to do...even if it saves u money. You need your remaper to troubleshoot and reflash errors etc tru out the lifetime of your car...u cant be running down to SG everytime u have a issue rite? FYI, Euromobil does not accept VW cars anymore since April last year...
