hi guys, new to this thread, wanna say hi n hope to be a regular. maybe tongue.gif

anyway i've always wanted to lose weight but never really had the time since my work takes up so much of my life (6 full days) and by the time i'm home i'm so tired and don't wanna work out. sunday is of course, real rest day mental and physical so i really don't wanna work out then.

a little bout me though:
i'd say i'm still quite fit and athletic, 72kg 170cm, waist size 33. regular badminton player every wednesday. my problem is of course, my waist which is slowly becoming more and more of a muffin top lol. also the thin but growing layer of fat all around my body.

i've read quite a lot from various threads to know that pure sit-ups don't do you any good since fat is distributed all over. not that i did sit-ups regularly anyway - actually didn't do any since few months ago lol. i suppose the badminton kept my weight in check, but i want to lose the fat and get the body i want.

okay enough background.

i live next to a park so i suppose i can try jogging maybe once a week. but my major problem with jogging is that, after 10 mins or so my skin gets REALLY itchy, and if I push it and keep jogging, it gets so itchy to the point of pain. yes, pain. it usually happens at my thighs where my shorts flap against my skin when i run/jog. this is frustrating cos i'm not really that tired yet but i can't go on cos of my damn itch/pain all over. if i scratch, it gets worse; i have to wait like 10-15 mins for it to subside before starting again.

is this normal for first-time joggers? anyone experience this before?

QUOTE(Fall guy @ Jan 3 2011, 11:48 PM)
Is thosei fattening? Thought of eating thosei for lunch everyday.

i believe thosai and most roti's are fattening to some point. it uses ghee which i think is much more fattening than normal oil, and it's mostly flour right, hence more carbs. but hey, that's just my opinion smile.gif
