In all seriousness, I lost 10kg in 2 weeks once.
5kg instant after delivery of my child (baby, blood, placenta, fluids) and another 5kg after losing more fluids, breastfeeding and rationed eating. So it's possible |

QUOTE(oec88 @ Dec 13 2010, 10:16 AM) Hopefully I am allowed to open a thread for myself to get comment and advice from people. Here's the bad news - your problem is you. You give so many excuses to justify your own misbehaviors. Eat properly - you already know what to do.Firstly, I am currently 22 year old, about 172cm +/- height and 89kg +/-. I used to be 78kg when I was 19 year old, that was about 3 years back when the first time I got myself a girlfriend. I gain a lot of weight after 3 years due to my unstable living lifestyle and foods. Now, I am really tired of carrying my big-fat-tummy. About 6 months back, I was 92kg and then cut down to 89kg because of part time job in Starbucks. Here are some questions, can I lose weight and keep a good living lifestyle by doing the task below? - Take yogurt drink two meals per day, 700ml per meal. (lunch and dinner) - More veggies and fruits, less meat and oily food. - Walking on the beach daily, or somewhere near my house, for at least more than 30 minutes. I am a type of guy that very stubborn. I know that we need to eat more healthy food and exercise more, in order to burn more calories than gaining calories per day. I don't really like to go to gym or hiking, maybe because of don't have partner. In other hand, I am afraid by doing all these above will affect me in terms of mentality and physical because I am currently taking BSc. course and there are a lot of works. Any better advice? Here's the good news - your solution is you. As I mentioned in another thread, I know a mom with a kid whom cooks meals daily and exercises 3x/week while getting her medical degree. She looks great! Are u saying that she has less work than you? |

QUOTE(zhan @ Jan 12 2011, 01:59 PM) Hello all, this is the first time I'm posting at Health & Fitness session. It's down to taste preference and price.I would like to check with you all which brand of low-fat milk that you all recommend for weight loss. I'm currently drink Dutch lady and was thinking is this a good one. Thanks all. The difference in nutrition is almost negligible. Added on January 13, 2011, 11:02 amBtw I'd go for fresh milk instead of skim milk. This post has been edited by Syd G: Jan 13 2011, 11:02 AM |

QUOTE(zhan @ Jan 13 2011, 04:17 PM) Skim milk? skim milk is low fat milkI'm sorry. I have been seeing this term "skim milk" for quite many times but I didn't really know what is this. Er, can this one be bought at any grocery store/hypermarket? And, any recommended brand? Anyway sorry if this question sounds stupid. |
