Advice

1. What should I eat for lunch ? (got many shops nearby serving all sorts of food, but mostly I go for vegetarian diet which does not look very healthy because very oily).

2. What should I take for dinner?

3. Do I need to go for some weight lifting?

4. How to get rid of the tummy and not looking "thin and sick" at the same time?
*
1. Bump up on protein. Go for ikan bakar, ayam bakar, ayam sup if you're fat-phobic.

2. Get rid of nasi goreng

3. Yes

4. Eat cleaner. Learn from the bodybuilders.

Syd, do u usually mix it with milk or just whack it with water?
*
It's vanilla so I mixed it with coffee, Pepsi, Root Beer (I'm not kidding tongue.gif)

If it's for post-workout, I mix with water.

If it's for bed, I mix with milk.

If it's to bump up my protein intake, some milk and some water.

If someone can do HIIT 5x a week then the HIIT is not intensive enough wink.gif

I usually rest for at least 2 days between HIIT sessions.

really appreciate with all the comment and feedback.. u guys are awesome..

yes.. its only interval training.. since i worry if my body breakdown (working so i got responsible to attend to).. have try to jog faster but later on i get cramp and nearly faint feeling (black out)..

*
actually there's nothing wrong with the nearly faint feeling, that's the high intensity part.

your workout should have prollly less rest time. but this depends on your fitness level. recover just enough to sprint again.

my favourite hiit workout goes like this :

400m track :

100m sprint,
100m recovery,
100m sprint,
100m recovery

repeat 5 loops

usually finish less than 13 mins, then I'll be swearing and crawling back to car...

btw i get scolded for not wanting to give my baby formula milk.

people can scold us for lots of reasons. as long as you're educated and you know wat you're doing is right, stand your guards.

It doesnt matter what speed others are doing and how long THEY are running. Do what u think is suitable for u. Speed 12 might be easy for someone else, but difficult for u correct? The aim is to TRAIN your body to ADAPT, not force it to sudden changes. For example, there was this skinny dude, first time seeing him in my new gym, tried to use the smith machine RIGHT AFTER I was done without removing my weights just because his gf was standing there. What happened next was the funniest shit i've seen in months!
*
auww be nice next time. help spot him and scream "it's all you bro!"

btw an update, am almost 2kg lighter than my pre-preggers weight now. i rike biggrin.gif

Tried cardio, doesn't help. Friend suggested gym with a specific workout.
Opinions? and If you think the workout plus cardio is a good idea, could you recomend me a workout that helps?
*
I took you years to pile up all that fat. You expected to lose them all in a month or two? unsure.gif

Instead of avoiding certain food, why not learn about basic nutrition.

Carbs, protein, fat. What are the functions, what food contains what, and alter your intake based on your activities and needs.

--

Btw between baked potato and bread, I'd choose baked potato hands down. The reason :

1) I try to eat food as close to nature as possible. God knows what chemical they put in your bread.

2) You can eat a lot of bread in one sitting. Baked potato, not so much. Tastes awesome with the skin.

stick to one. one of the benefit is to help you train your mental strength and focus, which is seriously lacking right now.
