Sigh... I'm weak when it comes to resisting such games. If it wasn't for Second Life's monthly fees, I would have been stuck inside, trying my hands on creating all sorts of stuff.

Woot. I'm kind of excited about the fact that a block's distance is equivalent to 16 blocks' distance in the normal Minecraft world.

You like building something out of nothing, relying on nothing but your own creativity & some primitive yet complex rules that have been pre-implemented? If yes, this is the game for you.

Boring? I totally lost track of time if I indulged myself on weekends.

Nope. I've yet to even join multiplayer due to fear of griefers (people who joined your server just to wreck your construction to dust) but still, I'm having lotsa fun. In the version you played, you don't need to mine anything as all the blocks are given to you. If you buy the game, you start with nothing. You have to mine & then craft your desired items out. Want to make a castle but has no stone? Mine it! Need to mine gold but can't break it with your hand? Craft a pickaxe! Night time? GTFO & run into you room FAST! Stumbled upon diamond blocks after digging your way down to the center of the earth? YIPPEE!

If you see them during night, just stay somewhere high & they'll still be there when the sun comes up.

Sandbox. Build whatever you want with whatever you mined / crafted.

Whatever music / song implemented into the game is going to be rendered useless when you start hearing sssssssssss...

FFFUUUUU... I just updated my Minecraft & WTF are creepers doing in my well-lit dungeons?

Just joined & what do I see? All the exchanges are flooding the screen. Seems like griefers are unavoidable.

FFFUUUU... I'm so stupid that I really want to bang my head on the wall right now.

After scouting around for a few days, I finally found a good place to construct my Japanese-traditional style house & since it was pretty far away, I took quite some time travelling from my mines (no railway due to me saving up all iron ores) to the desired location with my inventory fully loaded with irons, diamonds & all those stuffs that you don't stumble upon everyday.

While planning the dimension of my building, the sun started going down & due to my laziness, I just stacked 10 blocks of sand with me on top while waiting for the sun to come up again. It was going well until a freaking skeleton shot me & I fell off the pillar with creepers waiting impatiently below.

Tried going back after respawning but after a few deaths, I reached the place where I got gang-raped but all the items were no longer there. 10 blocks pillar were my standard height to avoid skeletons but somehow it didn't work this time.

All I have now are just cobblestones... tons of them.
