For saxophone lessons, I've had 2 teachers before, one is with Mr Bohari at Chambers Music, Sungai Wang Plaza, I took the saxophone grade 5 exam while learning with him. (This is few years ago, I'm not sure if he's still teaching there.)

Here's another saxophone teacher I've learned with few years ago too. I learned more to performance and improvisation stuffs from him, Mr Thomas.

hi,

I am thinking of saxophone and I googled ... most important is practise. I am wondering how to practice more often coz I am living in a small apartment. If I start, for sure the whole block will curse me unless i am near Kenny G..
Unlike keyboard, one can plug into a headphone..

how you find place  ?

for me, i will put a tshirt into the bell part. it will reduce the sound by a lot, but it's harder to play the lower notes. and try to control and play softer.
also choose the right time to practice, don't clash with Muslim's prayer times, don't practice after 10pm, don't practice before 8am.

there's another option, you can buy a saxophone mute. saw a review on youtube that it really reduces the sound, and you can still play the lower notes.
