QUOTE(parsona @ Nov 8 2011, 02:48 PM) If you are getting it from US, crucial m4 is cheaper and performs almost as fast as vertex3. Not to mention reliability but with the latest firmware maybe the vertex3 is good to go now. Still, I'd go with the crucial m4, especially if you are getting it from US. thank you for you suggestion btw can i ask if normal daily computing on Mac OS X lion, with mostly document/websurfing/photo editing/gaming/movie izzit advice to go for SSD? coz i having 4x 1TB drive in RAID now =) and i oso notice that for m4 it only had 270mb/s write speed as compare to vertex who had 500mb/s write is tat really impact on real world performance? or just some marketing figures? another thing is tat since u talk about reliability how bad is sandforce compare to marvell? although i know the best reliability lean toward intel. |
