What is the budget SSD around 80gb to recommend for a first time user?
Still Intel?

is the intel x25-m 160 gb (RM 750) a good buy? thinking of getting it from one of the seller in garage sale. It's OEM unit but seller says got 3 yrs warranty from intel.

X25M G2 = 2.5" form factor,similar in size to laptop HDDs
X18M G2 = 1.8" Form factor thus you'll need a converter to convert from microsata to sata,the converter is around RM45+-
In terms of speed they are the same

guys.. i'm extremely new in ssd.. interested in mushkin callisto 60gb because its in brushed alu. cover.. is the performance good??

Is this ssd speed good ?

hmm so ocz has released the max iops for quite some time now. no benchmark found yet. but one thing i would like to know, is that MB/s vs iops. which is more important and why ?

the more obvious question, will apps launch faster and game load time shorter ? i hope those who've bought max iops from the joe guy can give abit of score here. ;P

Hi guys, I'll be going to LYP later to get a SSD and I'm not sure which brand is the best for performance(gaming etc) and long lasting...

I thought of getting the OCZ VERTEX 2 SSD 60GB R 285 W 275Mb/s

Any recommendations guys?..My budget around RM500..

And also my motherboard is using SATA 2..So if I connect the SSD to my MB, will it decrease its performance etc?..Or it will stay the same ad SATA 3?..
