What thing you not sure?
I think all the SSD are same, you hardly notice the speed until you compare them side by side and also doing Raid. But better to get stable SSD lah, dont later this and that firmware issue bla bla make you headache only |

QUOTE(raist86 @ Mar 25 2011, 03:59 PM) is the intel x25-m 160 gb (RM 750) a good buy? thinking of getting it from one of the seller in garage sale. It's OEM unit but seller says got 3 yrs warranty from intel. who claimed it has 3 years warranty ?Afaik if you mean OWIKH84, i dont think he ever claimed 3 years warranty. But don't worry, Intel SSD has very less problem. So far i owned 2 units. no problem at all. |

QUOTE(Racerx @ Mar 26 2011, 10:24 AM) X25M G2 = 2.5" form factor, similar in size to laptop HDDs additional info. X18M G2 = 1.8" Form factor thus you'll need a converter to convert from microsata to sata, the converter is around RM45+- In terms of speed they are the same X18M G2 uses 3.3v rail instead of 5v rail. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/256408-32-intel |

QUOTE(dtdw @ May 9 2011, 05:32 PM) hmm so ocz has released the max iops for quite some time now. no benchmark found yet. but one thing i would like to know, is that MB/s vs iops. which is more important and why ? not interested to see those numbers.the more obvious question, will apps launch faster and game load time shorter ? i hope those who've bought max iops from the joe guy can give abit of score here. ;P just get a reliable one. |

QUOTE(bizness @ May 26 2011, 03:46 PM) Hi guys, I'll be going to LYP later to get a SSD and I'm not sure which brand is the best for performance(gaming etc) and long lasting... get Intel 80GB SSD already lar.I thought of getting the OCZ VERTEX 2 SSD 60GB R 285 W 275Mb/s Any recommendations guys?..My budget around RM500.. And also my motherboard is using SATA 2..So if I connect the SSD to my MB, will it decrease its performance etc?..Or it will stay the same ad SATA 3?.. Thanks Intel 320 series Capacity + Reliability > Speed you won't notice the speed much |
