My PC specifications:

Intel i7 920 - cooled by Cool IT self contained watercooler
Nvidia Geforce GTX285 - cooled by Artic Cooling tri-fan
6GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Played Starcraft 2 with the following settings:

Resolution: 1920x1200
Details: All ultra (where applicable)

Others: 4xAA (to try 8xAA when free)

In game fps: above 60fps at all times.

However, I had to enable V-sync as the tearing was really apparent during cinematic.

Athlon II X3 425 + 4GB RAM + GT220 (supposed to be GTX470 la but having some rig problem. hehe.)

surprisingly GT220 can play at 1680x1050 (i let the game decide the setting) and it still looks really good, unlike games like C&C series, low details make things really ugly.

I thought you have one rig with GTX295?

Based on your review, the temperature seems quite ok. Noise wise?

Hi,
I like to share to following scenario, hope it helps.
My PC: PhenomII .1Ghz, 2 GB RAM, ATI 4770, MS Vista
Ran SC2 at first, framerate was all over the place and at the beginning of each level, it slows down until 2FPS.

What I did was:
1. Increase RAM to 4GB
2. Defragment HDD
3. Most settings set to High

Voila!! Loading is much faster, and the FPS never slows down at the beginning.
Running now average 60ps everytime.

Dunno if it applies to any of you, good luck

Mostly set to Medium, but I think Lighting/Shader/Shadows causing FPS to drop a bit.. so I set them to Low..
