I got my blinds from TS as well, and he managed the installation for us well (quick, neat and hassle free). We are very satisified with the blinds! These were the cheapest we could find (and we have surveyed quite a few) and the quality isn't lacking either (much better than IK*A by far).

The only downside would be the master bedroom blinds, those 5 rather long pieces of blinds. If I crank up my ceiling fan, it will make my blinds sway, and knock against the wall, and it makes quite a bit of noise. But then again, this is just a design issue, nothing to do with the quality of the blinds or the installation.

Thanks for taking your time to come over in the weekends. Cheers and good luck!

I've just had my blinds installed by the TS.

Good service because before installing he brought the actual whole sunscreen (othes bring me small sample only) to give me an idea how it would look like. Any questions/concerns asked are answered well or given other good suggestions.

Installation was pleasant and I'm very happy overall, the price is good too  thumbup.gif

Just a note to the TS, the fabric that is a slight color of beige  - you should tell future customer that if rolled up it'll look quite orange! I would have chosen white if I knew  tongue.gif

Bought my blinds (almost whole house) from Philip. Good service and fast turnaround (~ 1 week to get all the custom made blinds ready). Installation was very professional and quick too.

And one point to note is that he and his installer are very punctual. smile.gif

Recommended seller!

Thank you for the blinds delivered. Love them (even though they can be a little heavy due to the size which I already expected). Overall very satisfied. They are beautiful. A pic attached.

I've to give a shoutout to Phillip for his excellent customer service..

Even after 1 year of installation of the blind, I've encountered a small issue on the roller.
I PM'ed him on this matter and in a matter of minutes, I've got a call from him.
He guided me through how-to on fixing it... and even offered to send one person over..

He definitely values his client highly

highly recommended seller!

gave me the most affordable price compared to other sellers, and was the very fast to respond to PM and arrive on site to measure & install

what impressed me the most was that he was very polite, respectful and professional all the way through. the product itself has good build quality for such a fair price.

i hope other lowyat sellers can be half as pleasant as tpleong! will happily recommend to all my friends, 10/10!

You can use the blinds to replace the curtains and you don't need to drill new holes, use the existing one.

Giigs_509

Now, it depends. If your walls is really uneven, the installer may need to skim it first.

Normally, for home use, most will choose Roller blinds for its practicallity, durability and good look. Vertical blinds was mainly used for offices. It very much depends on how big is the windows. You can easily calculate the costs yourself.......it's RM8.50 psf subject to a minimum of 20 sf per blind.

I don't sell aluminim curtain railing but I do sell wooden or metal rods.

Hope this helps

Even thought I don't do curtain, I don't see what's so difficult about measuring the width (length of the railing) and height (up to u how long u want so long it covers the window).

Cheers

Yes, curtain rod can put 2 per line ......meaning 2 rods per window. One for day and the other for night.

You mean you wanna put 3 layer per window?

Your calculation is more or less correct but why do you wanna put curtain and roller blind together ?

Maybe it is better that I dropby your place and explain/give you a on site quotation.

We are a wholesaler/factory. we don't do retailing outright as we sell to retailers so we don't have an outlet for consumers.

Suncreen is self explanatory. Black out means 100% no light thru. Fabric is in between and normally with patterns.

It is actually very easy to install. Just 2 or 3 screws, that is all but you need to drill the holes if exisitng does not have. If it is to replace the existing railings, then you can use back the same holes.

For Fabric, you can only see a little bit of shadow, that is all. It is suitable for bedroom.

Even suncreen, opening factor is only 5 - 10 % .....meaning 5 % - 10% of the lights come thru.

I have a sample at http://i-homefurnishing.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Hi..
I'm thinking of getting a Panel Track Blinds to cover my balcony sliding door of 10ft X 6ft (roughly)
Do you have the railing for this where i can slide each panel left to right?

I'm not sure of the total size, but maybe around 6-8 piece blinds (with around 10cm overlapping when fully close)...

btw, does you blind comes with printed design as well? or just plain?

Sorry to tell you that at this moment, I have not commenced manufacturing the panel track blinds though I know it is getting well received. For this type of blinds, I need to stock a lot of different type of fabrics silimar to curtains and it is only used for high end residential which at this moment not economical in term of volume. I may consider venturing into it in the very near future.

Very interesting question. I am in the midst of doing a 2 layer screen roller blinds. So far, no one is doing it.

At the moment, what people does is , one layer build inside the frame and the other layer outside the frame. rclxms.gif

Actually, there are other choices other than sunscreen & blackout. I have fabric that cannot see thru, just a bit of shadow but still allows light in.

Ye,s it is true that at night when you On the light, outside can see in if you uses sun screen. However, I have a special ticker sunscreen that has openess of only 5%. Hence, it is not very visible.

Why not I pay a visit to your place, show you the material & quote you the price on the spot ? You decide whether you want or not later...

Yes, cause morning , lights coming in from ouitside. Even with sunscreen, outside cannot see in. However, at night , light from inside going out..so can see a bit.

Blackout...totally no light thru so cannot see at all. I have fabric that cannot see thru also.

I have just installed "mrdude" home, the celling fan has no effect on the roller blinds....no knocking, no noice. In fact, I have also rectified brp psychotic problem icon_idea.gif

I would suggect that you use roller blinds than vertical blinds ...cause roller look much nicer.

PM me your address and HP number.....I will try to make it this weekend.

Hi,

Just wondering how do you rectified noise, knocking sound as a result of the ceiling fan?
Am planning to get the roller blinds but just to ensure I wouldn't have this problem after the installation.

Firstly, not all have this problem. Only small blinds has this problem generally i.e. blinds that is not wide. Those more than 4 feets does not has this problem.

For bro psychotic problem, I asked him to lower down the blinds. That sovled the problem.

Actually, we can also rectify the problem by sticking those cushion onto the side of the blinds. That will definitely resolve that issue smile.gif

Hi,

Just a rough estimate, for the roller blinds, it would be somewhat RM200 per windows so total RM800 for 4 windows. As for the wallpapers, it will be around RM350 per wall so total arounf RM700. Assuming you are taking the cheapest ranges.

Regards

Hi,

My house is under renovation now and estimated to be completed by 3rd week of April. I have big windows in the living hall, master bedroom and kitchen plus 3 rooms windows. I was thinking of putting up curtains but after reading through this forum, I am interested in the blinds.

Do you also supply curtains or just the curtain rails only?

By the way, my house is at Taman Puncak Jalil.

Hi,

Keen to install blinds for my new home.
Currently I'm using roman blinds but taking out and putting in the fabric into the rods are killing me.
May I know the material of your blinds?
Do I need to wash or just wiping is sufficient?
Are they difficult to remove from your rods?
Pls PM me. Thanks!

Hi,

It is true that roman blinds including curtains are hard to maintain especially when it comes to taking it down for washing and putting it back later. It tend to fade and get out of shape after sometime.

For blinds, mainteance is minimum and in most instances, you don't need to. It is made out of polyaster and PVC and you can just wipe it if necessary which I doubt. Dust generally do not stick on blinds hence it is good for people who are allegy to dusts.

Give me a call at 019-8802697 and I can give you a free site visit ...... smile.gif

My house has two 1.195 M (3.920604 ft.) x 1.78 M (5.839895 ft.) windows tht need to be totally shaded (non translucent) for privacy. Do U have any roller blind tht can serve this purpose and won't transmit any light when the interior brightness level is higher than the outer?

Bought my blinds (almost whole house) from Philip. Good service and fast turnaround (~ 1 week to get all the custom made blinds ready). Installation was very professional and quick too.

And one point to note is that he and his installer are very punctual. smile.gif

Hi, the vertical blind is not recommended for residential?

I prefer vertical blind as for the roller blind only allow up & down movement.

Is it possible to use the fabric (CY3H 005-008) for vertical blind?

do you have any wallpaper that not absorb heat from outside, due to wall faced sunset.

and curtain rail length around 10 feet which will cover not only 3 panel windows but whole wall.

All wallpapers are the same , not meant to absorb heat . To absorb sound , YES.

You should get something to cover your window which is the source of the heat i.e. maybe putting blackout.

I actually dont do curtain rail only, sorry. I only do when you engage for other service and help you to do for free.

The curtain rod can be joined , there is a connector BUT you can't pull it to the end cos the bracket supporting the rods will block it.

If you observe carefully at the picture (the one with the curtain, on the left side where there is a bracket) you posted , the bracket will prevent the curtain from fully pulled to the end . Anyway, it is perfectly ok .

If your shop is facing direct sunlight and is very very hot, I would suggest that you use BLACKOUT. This will cut off all light/heat. I have done it for many people who has this issue.

Hi,

I plan to install roller blind for my house. Do you able to come to Klang for measurement on 1st Dec 2012 ( saturday). The price RM8.8 psf is depends on metrial that we choose or is fix for all? Also, do you do curtain as well because my master bedroom window is some sort like a u-shape, so i think a double track curtain is better.

Thank you.

Anna

Hi, the black out roller blinds, are they easy to clean? I am still undecided if I'd rather go with roller blinds or curtains. Roller blinds cheaper than curtains? Do you have a shop so I can have a look at the blinds? Thanks

You basically do not need to clean as dust does not stick to polyester. No maintenance is reuired, that is the advanatges of roller blind.

Roller blind used to be 2 or 3 times more expensive than curtain but now, price is very close. Of course, depends on material.

call me (0198802697) if you need clarification.

It is better to change to a new one cause the cost of changing the fabric only cause more or less the same.

Hi, would need a rough quotation of roller blind for below:

Master & Middle Room: 149cm (W) x 115cm (H) - blackout
Study Room: 110cm (W) x 113cm (H)
Hall: 272cm (W) x 211cm (H) - sunscreen
Kitchen: 148cm (W) x 120cm (H)

As for study room & kitchen, i prefer something which can allow the light in but not able to see inside if on the light.

If the price is alright, would need you to come over to do the measurement smile.gif

Thanks.

Need some advice - how to clean dust off the fabric roller blind?

Let say if somebody accidentally spill some stain on the fabric roller blind, can I take fabric out and put it in the washing machine?

About the 3mm vinyl planks, do you have more designs other than the 6 planks shown on blogspot? I'm looking for design that has less wood grain and knots look.

As the fabric of the roller blinds are made of polyster or PVC, dust does not stick onto it. If really need cleaning, just use a wet cloth to wipe.

Let say if somebody accidentally spill some stain on the fabric roller blind, can I take fabric out and put it in the washing machine?

You cant take off the fabric from the roller . Just to a wet cloth OR sponce with some detergent to wipe the stain off. Do not use extreme force to wipe as it may spoilt the fabric.Gentle wiping will do. Stain will go off

I only have 6 designs under our own brand but i have korean vinyl as well.

I'm looking for design that has less wood grain and knots look.

I am also selling korean vinyl tiles but it cost a little more . It has more designs.

I have done it before, 2 layer of blinds at a L shape windows.

I will need to look at your window first before deciding what bracket to use.

I have ways to reduce the gap to almost none.

Sorry I wasn't clear with my question but good point about L shape window gap. I have a rooms with that.
My original question is about the plaster board that covers the curtain tracks. I am going to have plaster ceiling made soon but will create L box plaster near window so to hide the tracks. How much gap should I leave? Thanks for quick reply.
P/s. got your pm too. Will call you for appointment.

Hi, I am looking for outdoor blinds/cover to my balcony, I am going to put washing machine at balcony but I dont want to rain & sun on it. so I am thinking if can do blinds/cover to protect my washing machine , wont be cover to whole balcony, maybe just corner where the washing machine is. Is it possible to fix the blind from ceiling to the floor? Because I dont like when the wind blow it will flapping around. Prefer something more solid

Please PM me if this can be done, thank you

Got 13 roller blind for my office. Seller super friendly and helpful. Price wise I would say the cheapest in the market. Paid deposit and it takes about 3 days for the seller to come to site for installation. Going to get glass sticker from him as well. Thanks for the help. Adrian.

Because if i buy the rods / rails from you, might as well you measure & install for me as a package. Rather than i ask 2 different parties involve.

He definitely values his client highly...

highly recommended seller!

gave me the most affordable price compared to other sellers, and was the very fast to respond to PM and arrive on site to measure & install

what impressed me the most was that he was very polite, respectful and professional all the way through. the product itself has good build quality for such a fair price.

i hope other lowyat sellers can be half as pleasant as tpleong! will happily recommend to all my friends, 10/10!

For L shapes , we need to do 2 blinds

Roller/zebra will have small gaps.

Aluminium venetian & honey comb blinds has less gaps.

Hi, there are also choices of colour for vertical blind?

I heard that roller blinds are better than vertical blinds as the vertical blind's mechanism tends to "jam" more easily than roller blind, is it true?

Thanks.
