just watched first epi of Going My Home and random stuffs I noticed:
First episode is so LONG!

A bit draggy for my liking but it's a slice of life kinda drama so I'll bear with it.
So Abe-san really has to go all out and consume tonnes of mayonnaise for his role haha Ma-kun from 'mayonnaise', poor him. I like mayo too lolz so it's ok. Eat anything you want with them! Nothing wrong with that.
I can see lots of tasty food gonna be showcased in this drama in the future. Great cooking lessons from his wife.
Daughter is a bit on the weirdo sixth-sense type though.
And why is there so little of Miyazaki Aoi?
Anyways, my verdict for now is that this is not for people who likes fast-paced dramas. They really take their time showing different characters' lives, mainly Abe Hiroshi's of course.
agreed. its very slow pace drama, but mind u most of my favourite jdrama are slow paced.
the first 45min, i felt there's almost non story. no conflicts, no dramas, pointless. but i think the acting are top notch, with some comedic reliefs.
overall the im disappointed. but i can bear another episode and see it from there. im a big Abe Hiroshi fan..
