Didn't like the ending but Oguri Shun's acting was good esp last episode. To kill someone, it just takes a second.

If I were to compare both Alice and BORDER's finale, I very much prefer Alice's. To me, everything was answered and it felt more complete. Also the fact that Asumi and Nishikado overcame their own hatred and urge for revenge instead of succumbing to it. The merry-go-round was also somehow related, as in saying "revenge will only bring forth another revenge and it's an endless vicious cycle that has to end at some point". That "point" was when Asumi realized she had to let go after all the losses (all the deaths) with Yuma being the most innocent collateral damage lol. I thought the church scene was quite well done. There's suspense even till the end! I mean, halfway at the merry-go-round, Nishikado punching Asumi out of nowhere was like WTH did you just do?! OMG Nishikado might be an accomplice! That kind of reaction. And then, at the church scene, Asumi telling her father "I'll finish this now" I was thinking she might just go ahead and kill Oichan I just love all the suspense for this drama.

I have mixed feelings about the ending. My good/conscience part will want him to remain a good cop and look into other methods to bring the enemy down. Of course, there's a risk of the bad guy killing another kid in the future, but I just think he should've waited.

My evil part would love an unconventional ending. So this type of ending is unpredictable and it'll work for those who likes them.
Either way, majority of the people I've read that have watched the ending, didn't like it. Except for a select few. I'm not fond of it but I didn't hate it till the level of ruining the whole experience. BORDER is still a good drama.

My first thought when the ghost touched him behind was "did Ango just imagine the whole thing about killing the bad guy? And so the bad guy somehow sensed that Ango had let justice go and so welcomed him to the other side." He managed to lure Ango over to his evil side sort of hypothesis.

What the hell? How did Shingai survive 3 close range shots and that fall with his chest busted like that and still could walk so far with that excessive loss of blood AND kill Muroi?! Actually, the question is...how the hell did he even free himself from that tall sharp thing?! Too unrealistic. I'm not buying that. I refuse to. That just turned me off.

And what kind of role are they hoping Miki to play in this show anyway? I thought her character could've died in the previous episode and be done with. I just find nothing to anticipate from her. I'm thoroughly disappointed with Kuraki's character too. I don't find that he contributed anything major to the show despite the fact that he just wanted to know why his wife did what she did. I'll just say it here. MOZU season 1 was a let down. I dare not hope Season 2 will offer anything mind-blowing either.

asahara Takuya is a top-notch lawyer working for the law firm Tokyo Assize. He managed to successfully defend Arimura Hiroto from the charges of serial rape and murder. The surprise non-guilty ruling angered the mass media and the family members of the victims, but Takuya just brushed them off with a comment, "The law had decided the case. If you want to blame someone, then blame the law". Kusunose Masashi was the public defender originally assigned to Arimoto's case, but he had dropped the case as he wasn't convinced that Arimoto was not guilty, although Arimoto had claimed to have no recollection of committing the crime.

Aoba Confectionery is being sued by the sister of a man who had died from an allergic reaction to a particular snack produced by Aoba Confectionery. Aoba Confectionery is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Nikkyo Holdings, a huge conglomerate spearheaded by Haneda Kenzo. With such a high-profile case, Takuya tries all means and methods to corner the plaintiff in order to win the case. All of a sudden, a man from his past appears before him. Takuya has a secret that he had told no one, but Matsumoto Shogo knows of the secret, and is trying to blackmail him for a large sum of money. Coincidentally, Shogo is also a childhood friend of Yasuko, the plaintiff, as they were both brought up in the same orphanage

Taeko (Fueki Yuko), Toshihiro’s daughter from his first marriage and a budding artist, also visits. She distrusts Isako and declares, “You married fortune and not my father” … … One day, while Isako is meeting Shiotsuki in secret, she receives a report on Ishii’s case. Ishii has been arrested. Shiotsuki says Saeki is confident that Ishii, who has been accused of murder, will be absolved but … …

I don't think Tsumabuki Satoshi is the kind of actor to lead but uh...he's fine so far. I'm actually only more interested in his relationship with Aoi Yu and of course, Eita's character is probably an antagonist here Also, that makeover with Masami Nagasawa's character. The sibling's interaction gives me mixed feeling. At times, I enjoy watching them but at times, I felt they were too chatty and noisy. When they do that wrestle thingy, I was like Anyways, I just need more Eita! He only appeared about 1 minute? LOL

He succumbed to evil and did what the bad guy had enticed him to do, to kill him with his own hands. So that was why he said "Welcome to our side" at the end. Although it wasn't certain whether there'll be a 2nd season, no news on that yet. A lot of people weren't fond of the ending.
