Yeah.. like a not, we'll have to pay that damm tax. But I think it not fair to all malaysian people because our government not provide best FTA (free to air TV) service, coverage and quality to all malaysian people. That why people have subscribe astro.

I also curious what government want to do with that tax to develop broadcasting industry? hmm.gif

Tax should not be imposed right now because our FTA (Free To Air) TV is worst in term of quality and coverage.

If we compare pay TV like StarHub, they also imposed tax but their package price is still low compare to astro price. And please don't convert our ringgit to Singapore dolar.

I notice my previous recording problem is not occur anymore after astro update their firmware to 3.0s. Last time when I record live TV and watch recording program simultaneously, that live recording program will got a problem such as no sound or picture.

Are you sure, you're subscribe normal package instead of HD service?
Normally Astro only give you byond decoder if you subscribe HD service.
