Hi all. After about 2 hours + manage to get into book some tix. Found the following (note all exclude the extra frills like check in luggage, food, seat, and credit card fee) :

1. RM 35 all in return for Langkawi (zero fare)
2. RM 110 all in return for Krabi (RM 10 lowest promo fare)
3. RM 160 all in return for Bangkok (RM 10 lowest promo fare)
4. RM 320 all in return for Hong Kong (RM 100 lowest promo fare)

Anyone think whether its ZERO fare or not coz I can't find any for the out of KL destinations (didnt check Sri Lanka / India).

Still think its pretty ok but they did its serious server jam and am gonna get eye bags in the morning.

HK got rm320 after add all charges? got so cheap boh? i counted min also 400++ leh

You're right. I checked it wasn't RM 320 but didn't reach RM 400 also.

KL-HK :
Fare : RM 100
Fees & Taxes : RM 55

HK-KL :
Fare : RM 100
Fees & Taxes : RM 120

TOTAL : RM 375 for return trip without all the optional charges.

Anyway, anyone got RM 0 fare for HK or not? if got ZERO fare means you only pay RM 175 for a return trip but I think it was just bull marketing speak by AirAsia.

Fly to Spore RM0/way.

But after add up fuel surcharge, airport tax, aviation levy, passenger security fee, passenger service fee (wtf??!!) = RM120/to and fro.

still cheap, but what the heck is aviation levy, passenger security fee, passenger service fee???

why only fly to spore need to pay security and service fee??

Hahaha you're right! I think Singapore still got plenty ZERO fares because its pretty competitive to go there these days.

Just looked at the Singapore charges

KL - SG :
Fare : RM 0
Services & Tax (incl Fuel Surcharge) : RM 35

SG - KL :
Fare : RM 0
Services & Tax (incl Fuel Surcharge) : RM 18
Aviation Levy : RM 14
Passenger Security Fee : RM 19
Passenger Service Fee : RM 34

TOTAL : RM 120 (w/o optional extras)

Don't forget to factor in taxi charges to LCCT if you want to compare trips to Singapore. Another about RM 150 (to & fro) if you're from around Klang Valley. I guess the only benefit is can claim back GST if you fly there (but must stay more than 3 days).

Our app at http://fleapy.com captures all the zero/low fare possible in this promo event.
and also here is a guide http://blog.fleapy.com/are-you-ready-for-i...w-to-search-for that we learnt which may be helpful for you to get the best out of the promo.

List of some zero fares are at,
Kuala Lumpur - Penang
Kuala Lumpur - Hat Yai
Kuala Lumpur - Banda Aceh
Kuala Lumpur - Langkawi
Penang - Kuching
Penang - Kuala Lumpur
Penang - Singapore

There could be more!

Good luck!

Nice site. Feels easier to navigate compared to AA's site to find low price dates. Keep it up.

HK lowest fare published in AA website is RM155, base on RM100 fare. No zero airfare for HK.

Yeah, after you click on the Banner that says FREE SEATS to etc etc etc etc only to find out some Seats are NOT FREE. Should only be RM 55 (ex-KL). It's a bit misleading this one.

Some dates are very hot. Last nite tried from
Midnight and only managed to get in 2 hrs later. Just now can go on easy but started by selecting non-Hor dates ( not weekenda, public / school hols)

now airasia just launch free seat promotion.
but i dont know how to search for the available free seat .
can someone pls teach me how to search ?
or provide me the link to the free seat page.

Just go to their website and make a booking. Choose the flights within the promotional dates. If got free seats then got, if don't have then either pay regular or slightly cheaper prices (this means free seats are booked!).

RM 246 plus checked in luggage per person to Hanoi, not cheap right? That's the cheapest RM 30 deal I could find.
*
Yes its very very very very very cheap. Last time I took Tiger Airways to HCM (before AA flies to Vietnam) about 4 yrs ago, I paid around this price also but must fly out from SG. So with inflation, further distance from HCM, this makes it very very very very cheap. rclxms.gif
