QUOTE(stimix @ Nov 16 2010, 06:27 PM) Some time back, queued up near front of line with my 83 y.o. mom. As we were passing through the entrance, a group of rough male bumpkins from China pushed her aside and elbowed their way in, almost knocked her over, right where the staff was standing and staff did nothing. Whatever you say, the present system is better. 111 |

QUOTE(anilin @ Nov 18 2010, 01:22 PM) So how should we key in our name in that case? Is James on your passport/birth certificate?First Name: James Liang Chin Last Name: Lee it will turn out to be James Liang Chin, Lee in the itinerary right Official rule all over the world is, follow your passport. You family surname = LAST Name (NOT literally the last word). The rest is your FIRST name, as much as you want to fit. Be careful if they ask for a middle name. If you put BIN or the first word of your Chinese name there may be a lot of confusion when the computers alphabetize. (Note O BINLADEN, or Lee, Chin Liang) Mainland Chinese personal names are spelled only as one word with no spaces, so no confusion. Surprising how many Malaysian travel agents get it wrong on tickets and create hell for pax. Since so much confusion with international names, I don't think they can be very strict. They will check and compare with the passport number for sure. 111 |

QUOTE(ck23 @ Nov 21 2010, 03:52 PM) Don't click too fast, check the totals as you go. I rushed one time when the bus pop-up flashed on and off, then got to the end and it wasn't included. For a group booking, missed out on some savings. AAsia referred to Skybus webpage which emailed a reply they cannot amend the booking. Pay full fare. We will take the cheaper alternative buses. 111 |

Looking at the mobile check-in video, I think using the self-check-in kiosk is much much simpler because of fewer steps. What advantage is there in using phone?
