Just came back from Gold Coast holiday via AA. I bought it Nov last year offer for RM550 per pax. No delay, spacious and not tiring for 8hrs flight!

Well, no entertainment and also need to fork out money to purchase food...but with such low airfare, I wouldn't mind to pay for it, even for extra baggage allowance.

For those who are used to MAS service, definately AA is not in their prefered list, however by judging the small $$ we pay for AA Promo airfare, it is wise to go with AA....I am hoping one day MAS will offer low cost flights to worldwide like AA.

I heard AA is going to fly to Japan by end of the year during my recent flight to Gold Coast. Anyone can confirm this news?

I heard they change the seats for gold coast route..
are the seats reclinable to the back now?
Coz t he last time i took AA flight to Gold coast the seats cant recline to the back ...
one of my worst AA flights..everyone was complaining on flight.
even the flight i took  to london aint so bad.

Yes, can recline to the back. Leg room is consider spacious.

I think all AirAsia X planes have this new seating configuration as they may feel they cannot have 100% occupancy for all the flights. Received too many complain from passenger. smile.gif

You're right. I checked it wasn't RM 320 but didn't reach RM 400 also.

KL-HK :
    Fare : RM 100
    Fees & Taxes : RM 55

HK-KL :
    Fare : RM 100
    Fees & Taxes : RM 120

TOTAL : RM 375 for return trip without all the optional charges.

Anyway, anyone got RM 0 fare for HK or not? if got ZERO fare means you only pay RM 175 for a return trip but I think it was just bull marketing speak by AirAsia.

Hahaha you're right! I think Singapore still got plenty ZERO fares because its pretty competitive to go there these days.

Just looked at the Singapore charges

KL - SG :
    Fare : RM 0
Services & Tax (incl Fuel Surcharge) : RM 35

SG - KL :
    Fare : RM 0
Services & Tax (incl Fuel Surcharge) : RM 18
    Aviation Levy : RM 14
Passenger Security Fee : RM 19
Passenger Service Fee : RM 34

TOTAL : RM 120 (w/o optional extras)

Don't forget to factor in taxi charges to LCCT if you want to compare trips to Singapore. Another about RM 150 (to & fro) if you're from around Klang Valley. I guess the only benefit is can claim back GST if you fly there (but must stay more than 3 days).

HK lowest fare published in AA website is RM155, base on RM100 fare. No zero airfare for HK.
