That is why I totally stop travelling with AA. Their rules are ridicilous. We,customer are their mercy and become like beggar. My friend book flight KUL/Manado 6 mths in advance. Then they stop KUL/Manado/KUL. Asking for refund or change destination from original route was a nightmare. How can they do this to customer who pay for the service?? It was not our fault they stop the route and the least they can do is to make the refund/change route process a whole lot easier.

No need to pay extra to change the seat if you already paid the RM5/RM25 fee when doing the booking.
You can do it under Manage Booking.

I beg to differ. I travel to Australia and Vietnam via MAS promo and the service is superb. Recently went to HK with MAS promo.Paid for RM1125 return economy class. AA selling for RM930. Difference is only RM195. Better take MAS. I travel quite frequent to KK as I am from KK. Many times I paid not more than RM300 for return tkt by MAS. If you want to change tkt, penalty RM50 only. AA?? NO WAY!! You must pay the air fare difference and RM100 penalty. Many times I travel to Indonesia (Jogja,Jakarta,Surabaya) via MAS promo and paid not more than RM350 but service is still better than AA. I got 20kg baggage allowance and food. Unlike AA will charge everything (don't be surprise in the future they will charge us for using the plane toilet).

Cheap doesn't mean you have to compromise the service. Cheap doesn't mean you make your customer become beggar. Consumer are smarter nowadays. I am in the service industry for 16 years and I know what is service all about.

BTW, AA stewardess skirt is too short. Look at their skirt when they squat while handling the food tray. You can see their panties!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, with RM250 u get all the inconvenience. Flight delay and distrupt our whole progrmame. So no,even with free air ticket I won't fly with Air Asia. AA should change their name to Delay Airline. How many times u heard MAS flight is delay?? But AA is most of the time. In your case, it doesn't happen everyday unlike AA. The moment u book your flight with AA, u just pray your journey won't be distrupt. In All About Hong Kong thread, this lady travelling with her BF next year to HK and her flight by AA to HK schedule to arrive HK at 8pm. She added there, if there's no delay. We are supposed to enjoy our holiday not worrying abt or not we will arrive and depart on time. We already stress at the beginning of our journey.

What I mean is comparing apple to apple between MAS Promo & AA Promo. I got a MAS promo to Taiwan for RM780 last year whereas AA the cheapest at that point of time RM750..SO MAS better for sure..However days after I purchased MAS, AA offering same time & date for ~ RM350!! Sigh...Well. NVM, I though getting better service wth the new MAS 737-800..Well I was wrong! The plane is so narrow & even smaller than AA Airbus320 & the food so lousy & only 2 toilet at the back for Economy class..& the front two for Business class.so u imagine how long is the que waiting for toilet not to mention the disturbance

Base on my past experience, if the flight from Gold Coast is not delay, then there's enough time for you to catch the flight to HCM.

Why AA open the route to trouble maker country?? Iran is one of them. Now I saw many Iranian in KL illegaly operating travel agent. Once the Ministry making their round at the airport, they dissappear for awhile and return again after enforcement oficer are away.

This type of people gave our country bad name. Once, I met an Iranian talking bad about Malaysia to his Iranian guests. His guest speak fluent English and asked me if what the guy said abt Malaysia is true.

AA is no frills airline. Food, choosing seat, pillow,blanket, in flight entertainment all have to pay. biggrin.gif

Next time, use toilet also they charge 20 cents. tongue.gif

Can anyone tell me where to make kaw kaw complaint about AA staff??

Last weekend I helped my passengers (10 pax) to loading their bag to the chk in counter. As they already do the web chk in, we only need to load the luggage. The girl (her name is Sagunanthi, quite young. Maybe early 20's) already show her angry face when we were queuing up. I gave her the 10 boarding pass with passport. She asked us to load the bag to the weigher.

Then she told us got another extra 90 kilos. She asked us to put more bag if we have any. So my customer load his bag on the weigher. She balked at him when she saw that. She said " tunggu sampai saya kasih balik u punya passport baru blh letak itu beg". Then I shot at her "u yg suruh kita org letak beg, sebab ada lbh 90kg". She replied with high tone "awak tak faham ke?? U mesti tunggu saya pulang balik itu passport". I scolded her back. "u tak blh cakap baik baik ke?? Dari tadi asyik tunjuk muka masam, tinggi suara. Kami bukan pekak. Tak payah tengking2". Awak tengok muka awak dlm cermin (at the same time I took out my pocket mirror and shoved it to her face). She got angry and started to threatening us "u orang byk cakap, nanti saya tak mau chk in awak punya beg. Baru padan muka". Then I cannot tahan anymore, I shoot at her" skrg saya pun tak mau tengok muka awak. U better go away. Don't show yr face to me. You are very rude and now you are threatening us. Without customer, you will not get your salary". At that point of time, her supervisor arrived and apologised to us. She asked the idiot to leave and don't create anymore scene.

I have never encounter such a rude customer service people in my life. This girl is really classic. Who the hell she thing she is?? Diva?? From the beginning she already show her angry and sour face to us. She may have problem earlier and let go her anger to us.

From what I gather around, she already involved in a fight with other passengers earlier. Her supervisor asked her to take er hthings and go away when she started the fight again with me after that.

She really have no shame at all. She didn't even apologise to us. I want to complaint her kaw kaw because it was very clear she is not suitable working in the frontliner.

Not sure what u mean by cheaper than sales period ticket.

My sister bought return ticket KUL/Incheon/KUL for RM500. Baggage and meals included. She booked the ticket during sales period.
