Some malay guy called me... pretend to be from RHB (tel number 2782 8000) say I'm the 'lucky few' chosen for their cash back scheme. Minimum give back RM2000 to RM29000. Ask me to give my IC... F that, I hung up halfway. Less than 5min later this bloody con man sms me using number +60102903948:

Prior to the police report Chan Wai Hou was trying to persuade me from making the report. Making promises to bank in the money, etc. below is a summary of all the SMS made yesterday on 4 August 2010. As you can observe, all the promises of returning the money is just a delay tactic...



The best phrase is highlighted in the image file, the same phrase is also shown to the police.

I told the police "Sila tengok pos ini sebagai motivation for you" and he took a long.. hard look...

To all the victims, let's make one thing very clear, WE WILL NEVER GET OUR MONEY BACK. This is the second cheat we have dealt with and that is the pattern of con man. To promise you the money and make you wait. You can wait... and wait.. and they'll drag you on and tire you out. Just say bye to your money which can be earned.

But that does not mean we should give up because we lost the money and we won't get it back.
The MAIN REASON is that we should pursue the matter
TO REVEAL THE CON FAMILY. SO THAT THEY WILL BE CAUGHT AND PUNISHED!

Now. The police meeting went well.
I have given every bank account, every handphone number, every name of the bloody cheat and HIS FAMILY.
I have passed the police everything and action will be taken because this incident has occurred too many times.
Thank you guys for all the information you sent to my PM! So much information provided!!

For those of you who have been cheated, IT IS NOT TOO LATE TO MAKE A POLICE REPORT.
It doesn't take long and you are not wasting your time. It only takes 30 minutes to make the report.

And it goes into the police database. Once enough of you make the same report against the same persons and that the same bank account numbers are used repeatedly... these will be undeniable proof and action will be taken by the police regardless of what you say.

So in the end... here's the real summary:

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WHO HAS BEEN CONNED.
GO TO YOUR NEAREST POLICE STATION AND MAKE AN OFFICIAL REPORT.
GIVE AS MUCH INFORMATION ON THE CON MAN (I.E. HP NO, BANK ACCOUNT & NAME, ETC.)
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT WAS YESTERDAY - OR LAST YEAR!
