Actually some progamer from Europe try Ghost against Zerg, but with only small percentage of success. No doubt Ghost is effective sniping Mutas and doesn't take bonus damage from Blings, but if opponent goes Roaches it's hard.

Ei? Sounds like your opponent was someone named Jeffvip who likes delayed Banshees build?

Wtf how did you opponent managed to get 10 Banshees while you only have 6 tanks and marines. And he still have enough army to defend against your Marines Tank push? He had like 6 bases?

Two or three ghosts emp the sentries, marauders kite lots to no end. That's the best solution mid game (~12 min) imo. Need good emp though.

Ghost build in TvT... Tried few times but not having great success. Main reason is because of heavy gas usage, plus all the damn research (Moebius, Cloak). Opponent normally will be in a good shape if they have a tank or two.

I enjoy TvZ actually, the most balance match up. But 5 3 Ultralisk simply cannot die, Tank 3 3 shoot them like scratch gatal for them nia...  biggrin.gif

Hahaha that's normal in SEA. Last season I faced Zerg almost 90% of the time. I enjoy playing TvZ too but it's my worst matchup LOL. Need to have those insane APM marines spread to have a chance.

Ironically I hate TvT the most but it's my most confident matchup. Guess my T opponents hate TvT much more than me.

Hard to get Hydralisk head, since Zerg players normally won't go Hydralisk Den in ZvT. I can't remember when was the last time I saw Hydralisk. Must be that last time when I was still using Banshees against Zergs.

Yup normally my mood will turn from bad to worse when playing TvT especially after a long losing streaks Lol. That time will feel like wanna end the game straight with 1 base 5 raxes and SCVs all-in!

Hmm, not warp gate timing, I mean 4-gate timing. Now when the Toss army arrive at your doorstep it should be about 7 min mark. Warp gate should be finished earlier than that.

Haven't tried 14-CC against Toss yet. Actually I've thumbed down Taldarim Altar, don't know whether I'll have chance to try this sweat.gif

Most of them are available, only difference is in Multiplayer mode you click on the tech lab for those researches.

That was Brood War, now you have a unit called Hellion which

1) Range 5 compared to FB pathetic range 2.

2) Much faster.

3) Doesn't cost gas.

As a drawback it needs to be produced from Factory not Rax.

1) get a nice wall-off. make it a habit to wall with production buildings I.e. rax, fact etc and not depot.

2) put bunkers behind those walls. High econ blings bust will still kill your front wall, but the linga runby can be dealt with if there are enough bunkers.

3) get siege mode out asap.

Of course, the most important thing is to scout and see it coming. Scout his natural to check the drone saturation. And if you see a lot of lings wandering outside your perimeter, it normally indicates blings bust aggression is coming.

Normally if you can survive til you have siege mode you will be in good position. After that just marines drop his naked base and claim your victory.

What I normally do is make my 2nd CC (then upgrade to OC) in base, continuously making SCVs and muling, and only lift it out and transfer SCVs out to natural when I'm sure I'm safe enough from lings runby or Blings aggression. This usually means when I've siege mode or when I'm sure high econ Blings bust isn't coming from scouting information.

The production buildings you mention did not correlate directly to whether you can protect yourself from high econ Blings bust. The more important things are your buildings placements and whether you've enough bunkers etc.

I heard that if you bought the Collector's Edition, your Planetary Fortress can be lifted off and then shoot air. Need someone to verify this.
