that's why zerg cant rely on head on battle most of the time, if terran is really blocking u can either go backdoor/drop/nydus, or air harass, map control...

Any tips how to use Zerg in team game? I always go for zerglings + muta to help with the map control.. seldom being the one doing significant damage in it, tried infestor it just wont work out due to high gas cost and really difficult for zerg to F.E in teamgame

I got outplayed... by someone which I have perfect chance of winning..
He went banshee at first by walling off, my OL did scouted and prepared for it, it was like 8 minute mark and I have yet to get my 100th gas for lair upgrade, out of no choice I have no spam queen, was expecting only 2 ~ 3 banshee but there's like 6 coming at once, I lost like 4 ~ 5 queens due to my poor micros and mistake. my Lair was left in red HP out of panic I made spore colony all over my base, I thought I am really damn behind the game and keep doing everything I can do stay ahead of the competition.. All my units composition just went wrong, roaches, but too little, lings but he went marine + drop shit which pawn them like hell.. Mutalisk but he went Thor, Magic box is very bad idea when there's marine backup. What I failed to realised that actually I am not really behind all the game, he gave me so many room to expand which I didn't grab the opportunity. Instead I keep spamming unit just hope to overwhelm him, he did not expand until very long time which I thought he already have when he have rush me almost to death initially.. What I could made differently, some zergling --> baneling --> his Marine would be useless cause it's not really a lot of marine and thor he can make since he made his expansion late. INFESTOR -- OMG i always forgot this important unit which would totally turn the game upside down.. Expand.. My macro failed miserably, I really cannot keep up with the micro up to the extend I have 2k+ mineral out of 2 base I have to make 4 hatchery out of 2 base expo.. I made many upgrades which I never used, such as overload with speed and drops. I made so many queens but my sreep spread less than half of metropolitan. I got so emo of my self I just rage quit without a GG.. Really need to improve my coolness and game steadiness when I play, I have so much theory in my head but just cant apply them in game(everything become a mess). |

How about pheonix/viking came before your lair is up? it's quite difficult to def.
Corrupter is not really the answer for pheonix, because due to the fact corrupter cannot run faster than pheonix although the thick hp would make it quite sometime to be down |
