QUOTE(TruthHurts @ Nov 24 2011, 06:26 AM) I know about this muta thing cause if you attack comp they will go back to their base and anytime they want to attack you, you just hit from the back they will sure go back to their base even they are right in front of your base. Well, I think it's a bit hard unless you can mass out the computer before their timing push.. Meh, playing with players the best..I want to if can attack the A.I face-to-face. All ground no air. |

I don't like playing in NA server.. Always forced into playing some non-standard style play and the people there just LOOOOVE their cheese..

What I usually do is send out a couple of lings early to poke into their ramp. Very rarely Terran will bunker up against Zerg unless they're planning some weird tech build. In which event you'll just have to scout and sacrifice an OV to get some information. Played a game with this one guy who just went like mass Ravens once. My mistake for letting it happen and I just had no idea how to counter it. ><

Going Infestors not viable. Too gas intensive, unless you have some BROaches to tank some damage with baneling support.. :/

I said banelings and roaches because they can actually tank some damage while the muta does what they do, the reason I find mutalisks better is because of mobility and it's always good to punish a terran who's careless.. That being said, Zerg's rule of thumb against any other race is to always have extra base (or bases) than your opponent.. Mass everything~~

QUOTE(SiewKaiz @ Jan 14 2012, 10:16 PM) they see me rollin'.. they hatin'... XDThough in most situations I reckon the best way when you're ahead or have room to breathe (with 3 base being fully saturated) is to get all tech options which you might need when playing zerg, i mean, just drop one building and you can pump those units, which is convenient if you want to tech switch.. |

QUOTE(quest_5692 @ Jan 16 2012, 02:29 AM) ultralisk is the legal way to match fix a game. because whoever make ultralisk loses. Did he do it in the Arena of Legends tourney recently?it always sucked. but recently DRG start to popularize an ultra crackling infestor baneling timing push in ZvT. very cool build but IMO tight timing and hard to micro. its hard to position ultras to be effective and 1 wrong movement the whole pack of expensive unit will just die. Added on January 16, 2012, 2:30 amby recently i mean maybe 2weeks+ |

Baneling mines only work when spread out across the map and need to keep an eye out for wandering units.. against toss isn't all that good except when fighting lotsa zealots.. Otherwise, zerglings against toss only used when mass stalkers with fungal is there..

If you already have a spire on the way, get muta or some corruptors.. As good as hydra infestor are, their mobility isn't as good as muta (unless you're very good at fungal timings).. Mind you if you have an army large enough with roach, hydra and infestors, just roll into your opponents base and clean house..

outnumbered with what? Hydra? If he's going heavy hydra, get banes with speed.. Hydra die to banes quite easily..

For me, I think the best way to hold off against toss is to do constant scouting.. Always run by a ling or two and if they don't FFE, try to fly by an OV or something to get a peek of what he or she is going for.. That way, you can be prepared for his push timing as well as have the proper unit composition to counter it.. Not so easy against Terran though..

QUOTE(quest_5692 @ Feb 17 2012, 06:46 AM) against a toss that dont FFE and when you go up ramp theres less than 3 sentry, just saturate your 2 base until about 6-6.30 minute throw down evo then spore crawler and mass ling and you are fine. I don't see that many DTs in 1v1 though I'm beginning to see a lot of all-ins and cheeses by a lot of players in the 1v1 scene these days.. It's like nobody plays proper around Gold League.. ><what can 1 base toss do. dt (spore) stargate (spore) this 2 strat will show less than 3 sentries. on top of ramp 4 gate, 4 gate warp prisms, immortal all in (these all ins require alot of unit, if you saturate 2 base, +1 carapace lings can just out produce your opponent but you should engage at favorable spots and try to snipe proxy pylons.) if they on top ramp but you see alot sentry means its a sentry expand. always count sentry and if his 1st 2 unit is zealot stalker, more than likely he is gearing for some 1 base play. Added on February 17, 2012, 6:47 amthats why everyone FFE unless the map is retarded. more options later on. |
