basically metalopolis have turned into cheese fest (due to the predictable spawn unlike the ladder version especially for close air)...
usually if u go 3 gate VR, u need to deal enuff damage b4 they can get the first viking...
most terran make the mistake of putting their depot at their mineral line which usually cost them the game...
as long as they can defend till the first viking is out and micro it with some SCVs repairing, they can hold 3 gate VR...

but as u said, nt every1 can do it lol...
i used to do 3gate VR a lot b4 the first major VR nerf as i was able to juggle VR lvl 3 charge on my on zeal pretty well...
then blizz nerf it and i stopped doing it all together...

general rules, probes (early game), forcefield (mid-late game, especially when u dont have colossi), colossi (mid-late game) are your friends to counter marines marauders, remember to chrono boast your extended thermal lance as colossi with no extended range is useless cuz marines marauders can snipe it easily, u will be amazed that 1 colossus with range is better than 2 colossi without range considered both scenarios have equally same amount of tanking units around the colossi. proceed to chargelots in the late game

IMO, immortals are kinda unnecessary as they can be easily caught outta position cuz immortal cannot really stay out of range of the marines marauders to shoot in this 1.3 patch

i never get immortals...
without stim, 3 gate worth of units can easily hold 2-3 rax pushes as long as u have decent FFs...
tat way, u can spend ur extra income on tech or expansion...

as what u said, dun be afriad to pull probes if u see a scv train...
nothing worst than losing ur army only pulling ur probe when it is too late...
for me i always love to go FE in PvT thus i wont hestitate to pull probe since i am ahead on eco if they decided to allin...

1. only koreans are invited to MLG, no1 else is invited... besides that, the MLG global only have NA, EU and KR not other servers who are still really good like china
2. SEA metagame and KR/ NA/ EU metagame is different

DT is quite a build order lost if he go for 1-1-1 with ravens...
the most u can do is to get archons...
tat was what i did last time (i only did this once and stopped using DT expand altogether), sacrificing my natural and send 1-2 DT to his base (i usually have pylons all over the maps) as he move out...
buy some time till u get a big enuff army...

basically the best build to beat 1-1-1 is a 1gate expand into anything (5-6 gates, or 4-5 gate robo)...
3 gate proxy VR is possible as well...

i think going 2 gate first then throwing down a robo would be good...
tat way u can hold any other build and possible getting the warp prism for the 4 gate combo if u think he is teching to a 1-1-1...
u could hit a timing around 6-7 minute...

hmmm i always like to react to what i scout my opponents are doing...
so till then i open with standard...

generally i love the 3 gate sentry approach...
i will support my teammate with sentries no matter what build he does...
it is a marvel how well placed sentries with dps from ur teammate's army totally win battles even with smaller army...

another build i like is the quick robo where i can scout earlier and allow my team to react accordingly...
from there i can go immortal/ colossus based builds...
the 2 colossus rush without lance upgrade is among my fav...
it is generally safe as u are scouting with obs...

eh yeah. I think this is probably smth worth replicating. well ok. to be honest. i think vs terran, good to replicate scv and medivac. Not for the command center and all. Medivac can heal zealot, scv can repair collosus and stalkers immortal and so on... -.- but then again, might as well play terran la if like that zz

1. david kim said tat because u can replicate a scv for mule, it is kinda OP so they consider not allowing u to replicate workers... as a person who play random, i can tell u mule is one of the best macro mechanic out there as it allow u to go above the usual base saturation rule and muling in gold to be spent on chargelots/ gate is always awesome...
2. phoenix are horrible vs mass muta which is why they introduce tempest...
3. tempest dun have ground aoe

i dun think healing zeal is good lol... u cant heal shields and i rather let them die... they are merely meatshield for the high tech units anyways...
