With 3 storey, more rooms suitable for parents stay. extra rooms for study and music/video, kids, mate, guest. Majority goes for 2 storey :perhaps those are speculators. Speculators always go for lowest cost, just like condos, they always go for smallest built up. I notice the trend is towards 3 storey. even bungalows and smds newer designs mostly 3 storeys. 3 stories is only favorable to those who have big family. I have a few friends who own 3 stories houses & they all regret that. Main reason is that it's too big for their needs(wife usually complain it from cleaning point of view) & top floor becomes abandoned. Since middle class with small size families are majority of home buyers, demand for 3 stories will be less than 2 stories always.
