i prefer braided..really much more durable
not really hard to clean ar..i use wet cloth to clean it i think still ok maybe it is not as flexible as pvc once bended will keep bend but this characteristic make it hard to be bend also |

when you playing sc2 you seldom press few key in a moment
it is lot different compare to when you playing fps and mmo like wow you may do up to 5 action in 1 shot moving aiming skill prone duck plenty of key together This post has been edited by jasmineivan: Oct 19 2010, 04:38 PM |

if say is just for 1 or 2 wire i think the cable tie is more than enough
but for plenty of wires i think the pvc tubing is better..cover all wires into it look tidier |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Oct 20 2010, 11:13 AM) Anyone using a mechanical keyboard? I been reading it lately and found it very interesting.. I mean tempted.. haha lol another poisonedAdded on October 20, 2010, 1:41 pm QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Oct 20 2010, 12:40 PM) Ha! the 7G-1G = 6Gv2 must be worth 1 leg then! if 7g and 6gv2 to costy for you then consider for blackwindow expert version??I am looking for some production friendly keyboard actually, still find expensive gaming keyboard more to a marketing gimmick than actually functioning really well. But they looks so nice on your work desk. much more affordable suggest you wait for more review to see any other negative issue or problem since still so new This post has been edited by jasmineivan: Oct 20 2010, 01:41 PM |

QUOTE(Sky.Live @ Oct 20 2010, 10:10 AM) It's very troublesome for hardware change.. just taking out a mouse last time gave me so much headache.. cutting all the cable ties (mine were permanent 1). Took me half a day to took out all the cable ties and replace them later.. ya..i like keep shifting my stuff so if fix all the wire my head will bigger then the monitor Now I just connect my mouse and keyboard to my monitor's usb output (6 of them there). looks perfectly neat as well.. I also use those PVC tube you mentioned up there.. it's very troublesome actually, for my case I use it to enclose my extension plug, telephone wiring from plug to my work desk, in order to put the cable in, I would have to take out the plug wiring, and put all the cable in and reinstall the plug. I used this mostly ![]() It's easy and fast (faster I mean, not really that fast anyway), It can wrap more cable and easily break into smaller pieces if you want to. so just buy some wire tie (as picture below) to tie all the wire make it neat..if wan remove or add in any thing just cut he old 1 and tie again ![]() |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Oct 20 2010, 10:49 PM) I liked led keyboard, but if it's not mechanical, not NKRO (via usb to ps2 adapter), and the key print type isn't durable (laser etched, dye sublimated or doubleshot), or not using the mechanical switch i prefer ( Cherry mx Brown, red or clear ) then i won't consider it at all. haha then which keyboard did fit ur need??I recommend people to read this article for an introduction why mechanical keyboards is a better investment than rubber dome keyboards. http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?opti...d=376&Itemid=65 Here is a more specific guide regarding mechanical keyboards http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=STA...ssary+and+Links This is an interesting article regarding key cap types http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=All+About+Keys even 7g also not laser etching |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Oct 21 2010, 08:39 AM) IMO, BW your best choice. all 6gv2 7g and filco i think consider having media key lasince you don't need those extra bling except for media keys. you can look into Gigabyte K800 too most of the mech kb's have serious no-nonsense look, 6Gv2, 7G & Filco.. so yeahh, not easy to find one with media keys. just maybe lesser compare to other they at least got those basic ply ff rewind vol up vol down mute Added on October 21, 2010, 11:39 am QUOTE(QuickFire @ Oct 21 2010, 11:05 AM) How much is the OCZ Alchemy Elixir? I heard it's inexpensive. Looking for a gaming keyboard not exceeding RM150. i think to fit your budget alchemy not a bad choiceAlso where is the Alchemy sold? Havent seen it anywhere. and also can consider for microsoft x4 (i not really sure for the price but think around there and it is butterfly key if i not mistaken) This post has been edited by jasmineivan: Oct 21 2010, 11:39 AM |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Oct 22 2010, 01:52 AM) Hm there is an interesting thing i found out. moderno is displaying the browsing unit for black window d??Seems usb can do full nkro after all for certain keyboards. There is already stock of the Razer Black Widow Ultimate in Malaysia. http://www.modernopc.com/store/index.php?m...roducts_id=2216 The keyboard box has a small gap in it so you can push the keys. So if you can visit their shop, you can try out the buttons. then do you know any other shop in lowyat is showing?? i wanna try it out |

QUOTE(xcen @ Oct 23 2010, 12:55 PM) Funny thing is, I'm at around 80-100WPM with my rubber dome Logitech Internet Pro keyboard. don expect once after you change to mechanical keyboard will exactly increase the wpmWonder what wonders will the mechanical keyboard give me... hmmm... I don't think it will increase my WPM that much but it certainly does help in the feel and comfort department. I definitely HATE the Shift key on my keyboard. Btw, the S,N and M key are 100% gone after 4 years of use. The K,A,L are coming off soon too. Almost all of my alphabet keys and the spacebar are now shiny. it did but not very obvious different especially before you get used to it if mx blue maybe increase more wpm than mx black once after you get it think need some time for adaptation to no click mx black if keep bottom the key i think your wpm will decrease and tiring when you typing also |
