i do have some balance in MOL online and i was thinking of getting a gaming keyboard but the only option they have is the 3 razer keyboards. any comments for below razer keyboard?


is it good? sorry, i'm a bit noob in gaming keyboard. currently i'm using logitech multimedia keyboard, couldn't remember its name but it is less than RM100, bought 3-4 years ago.
I'm not a hardcore gamer, only playing light game like diablo3 and League of Legend occasionally.
i'm considering either blackwidow expert 2013 or deathstalker. any comments are welcome ..

Anyone know which shop I can buy CM Storm Quickfire TK blue, besides Heavyarm? They have no stock.

have you tried a mech keyboard before?
the blackwidow expert has blue switches which produces "click" sound whenever it is depressed, so it might annoy someone near you. however it does provide a wonderful typing and gaming experience.

the deathstalker is a chiclet styled membrane keyboard(found in laptop keyboards) with backlighting.

both features macro capabilities and the blackwidow has an extra 5 sets of keys for macro purposes.

personally i would vouch for the blackwidow but the clicky sound could annoy people staying with you
and some do prefer membrane over mech keyboard. so i suggest that you should try out a mech keyboard first.

omg, i'm looking for silent operation keyboard actually. but I really like the side feature which blackwidow have - the extra audio port / usb for headset..

but still silent operation is more preferable.
in that case, look like the deathstalker should be more suitable for me.

I used the blackwidow before and my family doesnt find it annoying at all I personally like the click sounds a lot so i don't find it annoying, and typing on it is really enjoyable (you can youtube for the sound of typing on blackwidows)

The audio port/usb is only available on the ultimate edition, the expert doesn't have them

That aside, mechanical keyboards are rated at a longer lifespan than membrane keyboards.

Well, you can have a look at other brands minus Razer.
Not saying that Razer keyboard is not good, but you have better choices at around that price range for mechanical keyboard.

While I don't really recommend razer as well but.. The mol website only offers razer it seems

and yes, i would like to use up the credit that i have in MOL reloaded long time ago but unfortunately they are offering razer related products only hence my choices are kinda limited.

the cooler master quick fire has lock fn function where user can press the media key without need press with two fingers...

so my question...is this function (lock fn) a common in other brand keyboard or just implement by cooler master?

I prefer logitech G600 MNO gaming mouse as it serves my purpose.

just want to ask for opinion.
looking for a keyboard, not so expensive but served the purpose for basic gaming. (eg : fifa, assassin creed, batman, tomb raider, etc)

fed up with current temporary keyboard,cannot perform well in-game.

what is your budget first ?
