Selling cheap n crap stuff in the first place, then force u to top up, pay more than market price for higher quality stuff is their method in making money. If u don't top up, u end up with crap stuff. They win. If u top up, they win.
The moral of the story is to get quality stuff at good price, avoid cheapo stuff at all cost.

they proceeded to hook up the speakers to...a HiFi with usb port. what the F were they thinking, i also dunno

i simply laughed and walked away. never came back

Okay, here's the UPDATE. Received a replacement after 3 working days, plus the didn't charge for the 2nd time postage. And this time the item works.

So, i guess you can stil trust this shop a bit then..

then why the earlier raging posts?

SATO shop in AMPANG(WATERFRONT)-closed down already though

I ordered full set Myvi bodykit from them
-front bumper - 1pc
-side skirts - 1set
-back bumper - 1set
-back bonnet c/w mirror w/o spoiler
-paint job and installation
-front fog lights

Paid deposit, wait for goods to arrive as it is a plug and play kinda setup.

When i arrive everything seems nice, until i notice the back bonnet top has 3holes for spoiler. I asked about it and they say its there initially as new models all have spoilers so if i am not getting one they will cover it up for me providing i leave my car for one they and they will send it to ''klang'' for it.

Next while inspecting further i saw marks on the screen like a square shape. Then i realise something was done to hide away a sandblast car plate no.
Straight i ask if this is a second hand stuff, only they admit and apologise that there is no new set so they have to get from those 'half cut' shop. I was like WTF, and they even quoted me for new set and paint job for the back bonnet unit.

Continue asking for discount on that as personally i did not like 2nd hand stuff adi and the colour is abit faded away, what made me even more angry is that he then tell me that the set did not c/w with the wiper motor and say if i want it i have to put in an extra RM50 for it. I said no and ask him to just keep the motor from my old bonnet and he kept quite.

Everything done got some discount, after 1month my fog lights was filled with water and ofcoz not functioning anymore.
Went back to them and their answer was ....

''Taiwan products are like this one le, if u want it to work again u buy new set - RM200, if not i give u something like original type Rm350.''

Did not do anything and just went off.
To be truthful i am so glad business was shit to them and they have to close down, i mean... with that kinda service, u brought down the name of 'SATO' all over the area.

Hope that guy is unable to work or even open another accessory shop...

That was crap man. i hope to see ken ken close shop one day but to date, they are still in business. damn!

I always believe with the phase "Cheap thing no good, good thing not cheap"...

So even some offer is dirt cheap, the hidden cost might be more such as repeat visit to the shop, warranty claims, etc.

So better save for a branded/ decent model.

Bro, do you have any idea where can I found shop which provide services to electric powered retractable wing mirror? Or anyone have any idea on this within Klang Valley? Dunno who s*******itch bend my mirror, now the driver side's wing mirror often malfunctioning during extract / retract. I guess the motor is ok, only the gear may have some problem.

Anyone please advise urgently if you guys had any idea on this. Many thanks!

Sorry to hear that bro. As a matter of fact, most likely the gear inside has damaged and it will not likely to be repaired and you will need to replace the whole side mirror. Trust me, my CRV last time also damaged like that .
