aiyoh, u starting to sound like those ppl who say why buy ambidextrous mouses when u cant use the extra side buttons...

the wrist rest so when for normal surfing u can surf more comfortably, then gaming u can just remove the rest so it doesnt interfere.

when the imperator was released, the led was pretty dim already.
well, not exactly dim...but placed in such a way that it only looks bright from the top.
perhaps later firmware increased the voltage going to it etc, then they realised it wasnt a good idea

i use siberia v2, cos like u already said for the 3.5mm jacks...mine doesnt have the usb sound card, i dont really care for it either unless of cos u got no soundcard on ur pc.
also the v2 / 5H mic is more sensitive and picks up better than the megalodon / carcharias.

megalodon / carcharias also comes with the furry fuzzy earpads, which picks up dust easily.
some like it, i dont.
and if u want the leather-like ones, u have to buy the replacement pads...v2 already comes with the leather-like ones.

only got one 3.5mm, why would it need more? its not surround sound also...just normal stereo.

but it has detachable cord, so u can have a shorter one for ur mp3 then plug back to the longer cord to use for PC.
something the razer m100 and moray should've had from the start...zzz...

cos kave is proper 5.1 so needs a proper surround sound card to utilize it.
but are u sure kave has 5? usually 5.1 only got 4 for front / center / rear / mic...

i still stick to my razer m100

why ur laptop so hopeless no soundcard?

external soundcard just get Creative, then plug in Orca - settle.

that's expected as its only USB.
tho 6-key rollover is fine already.
and since its going to be a gamer-centric kb w/ macros etc, it has to be USB based.

1. some gamers want macros.
2. ps2 cannot have macros, so need to use usb for the drivers etc.
3. usb only got 6-key rollover.
4. other manufacturers have been making too much money...like the SS 7G (but i still like it ).

from what i can tell, i dont see any quality differences between BW and 7G.
the BW looks nicer made, that one cannot argue, with combination of matt keys and shiny body.

its cherry keys with 100+ in each.
so same keys, same quality, but different color so different feel...so since same keys total weight is about the same.
technically tho, BW should be slightly heavier but cannot feel the difference.

i also dunno wat to review...
razer never put bw drivers on website yet.
so what i done so far is going to be it...probably i just compile it on a site later so easier to read

email razersupport, and if they're nice enough they may send some replacement keys.

looks plastic, else if metal sure expensive cos must bend here bend there cut here cut there

its a pretty balanced sounding headphone, enough bass and highs etc.
but imo, just abit too bassy for FPS games...for music of cos can la.
so i use back my siberia v2 for gaming, music on PC i usually use mako.
and when moving around i prefer using IEM...so headphones nowadays have no place for my music.

actually the thing i see with sensors is this.
when manufacturers improve the sensor, naturally they will also increase the dpi.
therefore in general when it comes to laser sensors, the higher the natural dpi (even tho u dont need it) would mean a better tracking sensor.

so u can always feel free to go try like the older 4000dpi sensor that was used in the lachesis, and then start complaining
there is a reason why there is a newer lachesis with the 5600dpi sensor.

like i said for my own tastes, for music i use my mako (when at home) or IEMs (when moving about).
for gaming i use my siberia v2.

i dont really use full cup headphones for music anymore.
but the orca definitely sounds fuller than the carcharias, even tho their construction is basically the same.
orca sounds like it has a little bit more bass and covers the low-mids abit more.
highs still remain the same.

so based on that, i dont think u would want to use it that much for multiplayer FPS games...it still usable but footsteps etc sounds just abit more muffled cos of the extra bass.
for solo games, or anything else they should be fine.

thats actually not right.
cos 4H / 5H still has bass, same with the siberia v2 or neckband...
not to mention the razer piranha even...

to say they cant hear any bass or to say its 90% treble 10% bass would mean they're extremely deaf...or well...just plain uhh deaf...
u wanna hear what 90% treble and 10% bass is? go listen to music thru a tiny 1" speaker...then tell me these gaming headsets sound like that...
