QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Sep 14 2010, 06:58 PM)
hey guys whats up! Remember me whining about how high the 6gv2 is? Currently using the 6gv2 and im in love with it, after using this keyboard i lift my left arms in the air instead of resting it on the keyboard because it is impossible haha! and i cant rest it on the table because i usually put my keyboards and mice at the edge of the table
*
Even for my Logitech G110, it took a while for me to get used to it. When I first bought and use it, I even asked myself if I had make the wrong choice but after a while, everything is fine. biggrin.gif

The 5Hv2's USB and the SS soundcard is using the same chip.
*
If I'm not mistaken, there is an OEM one as well that uses the same chip.

Won't be a problem for me. Next year I will be there permanently.  whistling.gif

But it would really really be nice if SS had global warranty.

QcK+ is the best for me  but its hard to find a black one in MY.
does anyone know where i can get 1 ?
*
Just check with the dealers, if they don't have it then most probably the distro don't have stocks for it.

I dunno why some sellers sell QcK+ Fnatic cheaper by RM10 hmm.gif

not really cause hand is big or mouse is big
some body playing fps move the hand all the way for horizontal movement
so need large area
*
Some gamers have super big mousepads but they only utilize about 10-20% of the whole mousepad. Each gamer got different way of handling. laugh.gif

true that, even my goliathus medium i use only the half nearest to the keyboard. i only use my wrist to flick my mouse here n there.
*
Yea, some gamers play with super low sensitivity but yet they use just a small portion of their mousepad. Just have to do more swipes/glides. biggrin.gif

If really they are launching a new keyboard then the existing ones must drop in price or they will be long forgotten. laugh.gif

What keyboard is that anyone know?
*
Will definitely try it one day. Thanks for the heads up, the link before that was to direct the browser straight to my post but I think it doesn't work for some people. I've changed it now. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Sep 23 2010, 10:16 PM)
Check out their twitter page. www.twitter.com/SteelSeries
'A change is coming, in 3 hours time.'

then they released that pic, but can't find th link now sad.gif
What do you think? new Zboard? or mechanical kb?
*
From the phrase "a change is coming" I definitely think that it is a revamp version of a keyboard.

I think the Shift is a bit fancy if you compare to the other SteelSeries products. laugh.gif

I think SS release this kb to go heads on with Razer. This is their more "bling-bling" keyboard. Maybe they did a review and found some people not buying SS kbs cause of the serious look?  laugh.gif
macro keys + changeable keycaps with Zboard. Main point is changeable keycaps.
overall, I think it's okay laa.
design is nice, wrist rest. How come the spacebar split into 2?

Probably, SteelSeries will probably need a slightly more fancy product and at the same time stick with their original concept behind their serious and professional look of their products. biggrin.gif

Is it worth getting the Xai to replace my Ikari Laser?
*
If I were you, as long as I'm comfortable with my current mouse (let's put me in your situation, so say I'm using an Ikari Laser), I don't think I will be upgrading to a Xai. I would rather wait for a new mouse and new technology from SteelSeries. biggrin.gif

how do u know xai its god?  hmm.gif  tried it b4?

tried it it was nice at pc fair, the shape like khinzu so im okay with it.  but prefer ergo

the shift bends quite cool.
*
Wrong spelling la bro. laugh.gif

While Xai offers more performance but I have to agree with you about the shape. My kind of palms will definitely need the Ikari although I would prefer to get a Xai instead.
