QUOTE(Nosferatu @ Oct 4 2010, 06:25 PM) anyone owning siberia v2 experience the smell from the leather after using v2 for a long time? Although moving fast into autumn and soon winter, the last few months have been very hot since its summer. I consider myself not so much a sweaty person but now the leather gives off a wierd smell. How do i remove it? I've tried cleaning it with a damp cloth mixed with soap water but the smell is still there. Should I mix with clothes detergent powder or dish wash detergent? I'm afraid these two might harm the leather. Thanks How about those leather cleaning solutions? Have you tried those?

QUOTE(Devilene @ Oct 4 2010, 08:31 PM) thats what i`m confused with, since i`ve come across ppl saying that if my current soundcard is an onboard soundcard, it`d be better to get the usb soundcard since they claim it performs better than the onboard soundcard. =/ It depends, some onboard soundcard are the cheapo ones that the USB soundcard can easily outperform. However, the main point is this, you don't really need the USB soundcard unless you always travel around (say you're a gamer going around) with your headset. The USB soundcard can help maintain the same audio quality no matter where you go.

QUOTE(Illiad @ Oct 4 2010, 09:55 PM) Performance wise is there any difference between 6GV2 and 7G? Is the wrist rest as good as what people say. For a start, the 6Gv2 is already more than enough. The 7G comes with the wrist rest and additional ports so some would think it is worth it and some don't. QUOTE(victor2212 @ Oct 4 2010, 10:02 PM) im only 17 no salary , well not yet 17 as b.day is december. 179 for siberia usb. expensive le . Somemore this month getting too many things... already. Mayb next time. If you don't travel a lot, then better consider a better internal soundcard instead.

Apparently the Asus Xonar can outperform some cards in certain applications while it can lose out in certain applications as well. I guess gamers still choose X-Fi though.

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Oct 7 2010, 08:37 AM) Sometimes emergency need to use it price is okay, design is good, performance is great. But I don' think my parents will allow me to get one You can always talk to them nicely. Of course you will need to come up with valid and solid reasons why you should own the keyboard.

QUOTE(AlexLai @ Oct 7 2010, 03:48 PM) Moderno is not allowing anyone to test the keyboards now... Too many cases of customers trying a new unit (usually the last) and then requesting for a 'new' unit. Well, it is "those customers" that caused this. Moderno was kind enough to open up and let them feel but it is definitely too much for them to request for another new unit after that.

QUOTE(FidelisGVR @ Oct 8 2010, 01:21 PM) tried the Ikari before at PC fair, fits nicely in my palm. too bad it haz no bling.. SteelSeries never really had a bling concept for their products. They lean more towards performance and durability.

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Oct 8 2010, 06:01 PM) oops updating mah siggeh, mixed-up. anyway, thanks for telling me. Added on October 8, 2010, 6:03 pm I'm sure 7H won't fail you. You can ask m0rph, he owns one. If I'm not wrong, his only concern now is the tightness issue which some 7H users had mentioned in the past.

QUOTE(CoolBoy89 @ Oct 8 2010, 06:46 PM) Any siberia's user here? is it good for listening bass-heavy song? And siberia has so many versions..dunno which one is good. Comment and suggestion pls..want to grab with edifier fasst Siberia actually not many versions. Main ones are Siberia full-size, Siberia neckband, Siberia in-ear, Siberia V2. Why many versions is because there are different colors and also whether a USB or non-USB. The Siberia can provide bass but it is very subjective whether the bass is enough or not depending on different individuals.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Oct 8 2010, 07:43 PM) Siberia V2 is multifunctional actually. But of course if you want good bass in your music, get a music headphones. *One question* Anyone tried hanging their siberia v2 around their neck before? I choke everytime i do that How to carry it around? lol Can't even do that with my V1, too tight due to the earcups. The V2 should be worse since it's 50mm.

You could do that as well while you save up for a good soundcard in the future. Yes, 7H itself is already good and with a decent soundcard, you can bring the best out of it.

QUOTE(JustForFun @ Oct 8 2010, 11:32 PM) Has anyone used the QCK pad for more than a year or two? Does the top of the pad peel off like those cheapo mouse pads? As far as I know, it will not peel off but who knows it could happen as well depending on how the owner uses it.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Oct 9 2010, 03:57 PM) QCK Heavy is a good choice actually. Might get rid of my QCK+ for the qck heavy Well, if I were you, I don't think I will get a QcK Heavy to replace a QcK+. Might as well go further as an upgrade.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Oct 9 2010, 07:39 PM) limited budget leh It's just like a small upgrade and in the end, you might just crave for something even better. That's what happened to you last time with your mouse as well. If limited budget, then no hurry to upgrade, wait until you have enough to get an upgrade that is worth the money.

QUOTE(andrewtho @ Oct 9 2010, 10:55 PM) im still looking for a mousepad that suits my ikari laser. I know this QCK+ doesnt work very well with my mouse ._. As mentioned by another member, the Taito would be an affordable one or you could consider the 4HD/9HD series as I've told you before.

Also, don't think so guys would want an iron.lady set. The color itself is enough to drive guys away.
