Those are not grips by the look of it. If it really wants to be a WoW mouse, it needs more macro buttons. The Ikari's thumb buttons just happen to be at the same area.
*
yup i think should be macro button..since stated is wow mouse..definitely will add in lot button

Surprisingly the white one wont get dirty. When i bought i tot i would, but when i used it for about a week. It wont get dirty.
*
white colour sure will get dirty after long term usage..to minimize this i think better wash hand every time before use computer

the ironlady version still better because is glossy surface easier to clean the dirt
if i not mistaken white ikari is rubber coated right?? compare to iron lady white it is harder to clean

What wrong with the butterfly keyset? not comfortable meh? I saw the sidewinder X6 last time, quite nice from my view..the num keypad can switch left and right.
but it is microsoft product..make me afraid to own it again.. brows.gif
*
x6 quite tactile also..at least don think the key touch soft like logitech keyboards
compare shift and zboard i think almost the same only..shift got extra layer of macro..dats wat i know
means sth like x6 also..got 3 layer different macro on same keys
and wat steelseries say is shift and last for 20million keystroke which much more better than other rubber dome stuff..anyway wait for review is safer

Once you get used to WASD, the butterfly keys are a bit ... er.... less than comfortable?
What he said.
*
butterfly layout abit weird..the Q key is just like located at between the Q and W key in other normal
so if cant get use of it..you will make mistake easily

Using a Pyra Wireless. My only gripe is the rather erratic connection when plugging in the wireless dongle and the stiff scroll wheel.
*
stiff scroll wheel??
if compare with da scroll u think which better??

Actually if you are not looking for a hardcore mobile gaming mouse, there are other brands to consider as well such as from Logitech and Microsoft.
*

Of course DA is nicer to press. I can compare the scroll wheel to the Kova. But the Kinzu's scroll is still nicer to use though.
*
so means you think kinzu scroll is better than da??
did kinzu's scroll as noisy as ikari??

err size does matter~  sweat.gif last time I went to Quas (my first time) decide to try the Ikari they have there... I literally went into noob-mode as it was my first time handling it, not to mention it's in pretty bad shape with the click being too soft edi~ tongue.gif second time I wisen up and decide to bring my own Alien G9~ now I miss that baby~  blush.gif

laser or optical means nothing, after you've tried both. any mouse is suitable for any game. it all depends on the DPI you need, buttons, on-the-fly DPI changing, and that's about it.(from technical point of view). more reason to consider would be right/left handed, ambidextrous, palm grip finger grip etc. but never laser/optical as a comparison. marketers and mouse companies say all sorts of gimmicks and mislead the whole gaming community. what optical for FPS laser for this that, all bullshit.
*
no lo..optical and laser sensor did made different
but don think optical more for fps
laser for fps still no problem

from optical to laser is for better tracking, better precision and accuracy
try to compare laser and optical mouse in photoshop or any graphic work for tiny distance movement
you will notice their performance different

Thinking of selling my ikari laser for an optical mouse. do you think it's worth it? I know it's downgrading but i cannot stand the moving cursor. ._. annoying sia
*
moving cursor??

are you using a strong based speaker??

last time i did got such problem
the vibrating base can move the cursor
now no problem at all also

Added on October 22, 2010, 4:53 pm
QUOTE(yongkailoon @ Oct 22 2010, 11:57 AM)
Not supposed to be that way. Yours is very weird. Maybe strong bass/vibration or your wire is actually pulling the mouse a little (because laser is so sensitive, even our naked eyes might not even see the mouse moving but the cursor is already moving) that caused the moving cursor?
*
yup last time my lachesis and ikari laser will like dat
once lower the base or don stick the woofer to the desk then no such problem d

My mouse is actually 2 months old and i clean it quite often, so i think the dirt shouldn't be the problem. But for the mousepad wise, im using QCK+.

@ yong : No vibrations, no speakers turned on while using the mouse, and i think there is nothing blocking the cable.

But i think its the mousepad issue.
*
but i got lot fren using ikari with qck series line
none of them complain about this problem also
and my own ikari laser don have such problem also
