Well, companies will usually produce mousepads parallel to suit their mouse as well. The SteelSeries Thread v5, SteelSeries Users Welcomed!

QUOTE(Lil Kiasu @ Oct 11 2010, 02:59 PM) Not saying that. Let's say if you buy a SteelSeries mouse, if you ask them, they would of course be confident enough to suggest a SteelSeries mousepad which isn't always because of sales but because they are confident that it will very likely to be compatible.Take car for example, of course you can use parts of other brands but if you go back to the original car manufacturer, they would also tell you to get genuine parts from them to go with the car. |

QUOTE(shueking @ Oct 12 2010, 04:00 PM) Yea true that if there was someone talking would be nice. Although it's not a review, the video seemed a bit dull as we are only witnessing movements. Just like if you were to watch a movie but without the sound, similar feeling. |

QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Oct 13 2010, 12:39 AM) Im actually considering to buy a headphone now Well, the USB soundcard is decent although not a high-end card and it is made to be paired with their range of headsets. Gamers usually would take with the USB soundcard because it offers you the same audio quality no matter where you go. I think you can easily make this decision by asking yourself if you are willing to pay the extra to get with the USB soundcard. was wondering if the USB soundcard is good because i currently have a DELL XPS 8100 IT has a(n) Integrated high definition 7.1 channel audio [Included in Price] THX® TruStudio PC™ So i was wondering do i really need a 7.1 USB soundcard by SS Btw I only play RTS games like SC2 would like to chill n enjoy movies with my headphones on atm |

QUOTE(moderno @ Oct 13 2010, 02:04 PM) After discussing with Play-Interactive yesterday, we're offering our place as a warranty hub for any SteelSeries products. Pretty good service bro as it will be at the convenience of most SteelSeries users. Any SteelSeries products that need to be claimed for warranty (distributed previously by Inter-Asia), it can be sent to Play-Interactive through us here. For SteelSeries that were purchased in-directly from us (i.e from Lowyat Plaza / other dealers etc) there will be RM 30 service fee applied. The claimed item also has to be accompanied together with the original purchase receipt from the place you bought to determine the validity of the warranty period. Hope this can help easing the RMA process for SteelSeries users - moderno @ ModernoPC.Com - |

QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Oct 13 2010, 04:16 PM) I was wondering how long does it really take for a returned item from a warranty claim? As it has to be shipped back to the manufacturer, it can go from 1-2 months and maybe if there are any unforeseen problems, it could even take longer than that.I recently send in my ikari laser n it took me 2 months to claim it back, maybe a lil more.. now I have sent it back again for another warranty claim and its already been a month |

Yes, if you send it straight to PLAY Interactive then there will be no charges for that. If you send to Moderno, he will be charging RM30 handling fee (if your product is purchased from other dealers/retailers) as he will need to help you to send it to PLAY Interactive which definitely there will be costs involved.

Not bad, fans of SteelSeries and WoW players could really be attracted to this. About time SteelSeries have some products that have some bling factor too so users can choose if they want just a simple or fancy design.

QUOTE(shueking @ Oct 15 2010, 05:13 PM) One question guys. So can we claim our warranty from Play Interactive for FOC even if we bought SS items from Edifier? Yes provided if you bring to PLAY Interactive directly. Otherwise, if you bring to another retailer/dealer say ModernoPC, you will usually be charged a handling fee (fee is not charged by PLAY Interactive but by the retailer/dealer themselves). |
