Quite a few in a month tongue.gif
Yes as you need wipe data when flash ROM. But you can backup using titanium backup.

ermm.. for me.. i bought my phone on mid july.. then so far.. restarted my phone :
1 x change 8gb microSD card
1 x the phone lagg... when play games.. and scrolling...

Which means, slow booting isn't really a problem since you don't always restart your phone right? wink.gif

ok, before I enter the dark side, some questions:

1.  Is it more advisable to upgrade my storage card from the 2GB to 8/16GB before I root?  As I understand, some rooting process will create partition on the card.  So I can save some works if I upgrade my card first?

2.  A2SD+ is better than A2SD from Froyo but A2SD+ is depend on rom?

These question might have asked before but this thread is moving so fast that the info has been fast buried.  sweat.gif

Thanks in advance.  smile.gif

1. Rooting will not create partition on the card.
2. A2SD+ allows you to install the apps into your SD card as it forces the apps to think that your SD card as your phone memory. As for A2SD, only selected apps can be installed in the SD card.

SD Class ratings  are quite a limited indication of speed (The Class number is the minimum MB/s write speed, eg. Class 2 is 2MB/s). In my experience all recent big brand (>=8GB) Class 2 cards give at least 6MB/s write speed, which means they could just as well be called Class 6. So my speculation is that since Class 6 was the highest official rating available for quite a while (Class 10 was only added very recently), this caused manufacturers to only use the higher class ratings on their genuinely faster cards and to charge accordingly, (otherwise they would have all been Class 6). So C2=standard, C4=faster, C6=even yet still faster, C10=fastest.

During the PC Fair, one of the Sandisk seller told me that Sandisk has stop producing >Class 2 for 16gb as there's no huge difference in performance. Don't know how true is that though.

Did you turn on any wifi or suspicious app that drains your batt? That's certainly unusual

Battery hardly drops 10 percent on my NextSense 5.3 (but it's known to be more power efficient compare to 5.2) if I leave it on overnight with Mobile Data off

Wow, that was like 25 pages ago laugh.gif

Anyway, from the change log of v5.3,

* Wifi N Disabled for save more battery
* Updated Gallery3D (thanks to shawe_ewahs)
* Changed Quickoffice to Quickoffice pro (thanks to shawe_ewahs)
* Added OpenVPN configurator
* CPU Governor ondemand by default (interactive or powersave with SetCPU)
* Scheduler improves
* Battery & Performance improves. (solved battery issue?)
* Other Tweaks.

It seems that there's some battery issue in v5.2 which has been fixed in v5.3
