I usually try to buy the stuff for units I use, you won't have enough at the end of the game to buy all of the armory stuff so you have to choose.

Personally I bought all of the base stuff since I found them quite useful.

Then unit stuffs for the units I mostly use (Wraiths, Battleships, tanks etc.)

credit always not enough, and need to spend wisely, especially on hard difficulty. i regret spending on fortified bunker, should have spent on turret so can defense on Outbreak mission.

That Protoss and Zerg research thing can choose 1 out of 2
but the credit ones buy anything you like

Can the credits be earned if you redo the mission?

I have not tried but I do not think you can earn the credits again, would be a bit easy to spam like the first mission over and over in 10 minutes and buy everything from the beginning.
Kinda defeat the purpose

For me I just bought upgrades for units that I will use. So far I haven't got the feeling that I'm lacking in credits. Not to mention I hired some mercs as well lol (again not all just the useful ones for me). And try to get all the research points cause if u max Zerg/Protoss research, extra research points will be 10000 credit each.

Sometime in the future, you'll regret not getting half the mercs. The Siege Tank mercs are SO useful.

Marauders concussions grenades are very good and helps a lot until the end of the game, marauders were quite a big portion of my defensive line up to the very last mission.

I also took the bunker turrets too, helps a bit.

Medic are good at beginning but I found myself not using them much at the end of the campaign, most of times I use marines/marauders in bunkers only so medic pretty useless at the end.
I am redoing the campaign in Hard now so I might change my credit allocation a bit more

I think medics are good if you prefer mobile army.

For me, i use the bunker turrets as a turret, until i need additional fire power, then, i only put marines in.

Need to use that flame turret more.

Concussion grenade is awesome to stop melee units.

Got Science Vessel too, which is the vehicle version of medic.

Plus with the regenerative armor, my army is harder to kill.

Well, thing is later in the game I hardly use marines/marauders or any infantry for attack, I use ships or vehicules.
infantry are good but to have the equivalent of attack power vehicules give you, you would need lots of them which then become a problem since they are all bunched up together.

Depends how you play anyway I guess, which is why this system is interesting smile.gif

lol, I find myself blowing credits on things that I hardly ever use, or use once or twice on missions.

Still isn't so bad though, upgraded Siege Tanks pretty much can stop any attack dead in its track.

I confirmed that credits cant be earned twice but the research points can be recollected. Eg in a campain there is 3 points, you collected 2 and finish the game, you can reply and collect all 3 to get that remaining 1 point you left previously
