Actually, not all threads have information regarding batteries. I think only 5800 and E72 threads have the relevant information.

Here something to clear up confusion

Although lithium-ion is memory-free in terms of performance deterioration, batteries with fuel gauges exhibit what engineers refer to as "digital memory". Here is the reason: Short discharges with subsequent recharges do not provide the periodic calibration needed to synchronize the fuel gauge with the battery's state-of-charge. A deliberate full discharge and recharge every 30 charges corrects this problem. Letting the battery run down to the cut-off point in the equipment will do this. If ignored, the fuel gauge will become increasingly less accurate

How to count every charge...

example would be the laptop circuitry where although the device is shutoff but the internal regarding the battery charging and drain keep on running, it's totally a seperate circuit that seem not even shutdown although u plug out the battery (of coz not until years lah)...
so these circuit will monitor the conected battery charge/discharge current/voltage... Lion Batt are dangerous if not been control properly...

Here's my theory.
Lets say you charge your phone every 2 days.
Then you need to discharge/recharge it every 30 cycles = 30 X 2. After 60 days (2 months) then you do the process of discharging/recharging it.

Hmm...I will try it..
BTW, after the 3rd charge, I noticed my phone battery life improved

He just means... if u charge ur phone 2days once, then after 2 months, do a complete discharge/recharge cycle

just need few phones for my use.
im selling off the 32gb later to buy the n8 since i like the white purple color for the 16gb.
