will not always hang. unless u open many high consume ram application.
Nokia X6 and Vivaz both have same ram amount. If u say X6 always hang, then Vivaz do so.
If u got do some survey, u will found that all the S60V5 phone have the similarity problem, RAM issue. No matter what brand, SE, nokia or others.
If normal usage, din aim for using those high end application or else, can choose S60V5 phone.
Bcos i noe some user very nitpick, wan "cheap and big", then end up always complain this and that..
At conclusion, depend what u need. resistive or cpacitive.SE or nokia. design. HD video and VGA video. budget.
there are no such who is better, just depend what u need and like.
U can try to list out what u actually need for the phones, let ppl give u some opinion.

For battery life, X6 is 1320 mAh, Vivaz Pro & Vivaz are 1200mAh. Based on paper benchmark, X6 should be have better battery life. but all depend on situation and usage. My X6 battery can last 2 days.
For screen, X6 only need a simply touch, because capacitive screen; Vivaz need some pressure.
Capacitive need heat, human skin to touch. Resistive can use all material to touch on it.
Capacitive screen is made of glass, tick and stronger, while resistive is made of thin plastic.
Install garmin will not make the phone slower. But if u running Garmin, of cos the phone become slower. Same theory with PC, if ur PC only 1GB ram, but u running 800mb appliction software, will the PC become slower.
