i think theres a leak, i had open my bt whole days, slow and almost no speed. but just now suddenly kuroshitsuji2 ep04 suddenlt boost to max (ard 120kb per 1mb line) , mean while other (7 active dl) still 0-2kb. while the anime done dl'ed, others remain slow.
my guess, i had leech from a leak which sneak thru TM O.o? |

just made a test, found another strange thing.
DL a mp3 from a side using DL Manager, full speed for few secs then drop to 0 (being throttled?), make few tried all same. Then DL same file with Mozilla's own (save as), full speed stable. is this mean TM also throttle programs? |

i think.... just a guess, no proof tho... tm has alots of future program which nid alot of bandwith, but they unwilling to buy stuff/machine/etc.. so they squeez bandwith from us, lolz my roomate suggest some 1 mail Jho Low and ask hin build a broadband company, tell him m'sia's bb market still a fresh meat .. QUOTE(zx12 @ Aug 3 2010, 11:06 PM) i would prefer it if they schedule the throttling..for example, allow fullspeed download from 12am to 6am..n limit the speed after that..at leat we can achieve the speed we paid for or TM can make another package with seperate system and tools/machines which allow p2p/torrent. of course it will be in higher price but hope it is acceptable. well... win win is always the best for all. This post has been edited by ziling919: Aug 4 2010, 01:16 AM |

QUOTE(amyhs99 @ Aug 4 2010, 07:06 PM) i think there's alittle controversy about this, i might be wrong tho.example if 1m line using p2p/bt at full speed, even exeed the bandwith limit its still ard 170kb max which is not far from wat we shud get rite? in this situation, tats mean we max the usage of wat we paid for. so, "use a lot of bandwidth and can significantly reduce the connection speed" is tm's problem not ours, we only use and max out wat we deserve rite? |

QUOTE(opera33 @ Aug 6 2010, 11:25 AM) well, i suggest TM make another portal which seperate p2p/pps/bt user from normal browsing user with dedicated system. p2p package uncapped, pay abit higher. normal package capped, cheaper price.Blocking or throttling/capping isn't a good solution. they shud hav better managment with more options to choose so every user will happy with what they paid. seperate p2p user from normal user, so, no matter how many bandwith p2p users take, they will only effect among themselvs, wont drag normal user in. tm can build hsbb/unifi system, i believe making another sys for p2p user won't be a prob.
