Although my brother's PPStream ever make me cannot even browse website, I do think PPStream is not the root cause. The root cause is someone at TM and government put the money we paid in their own pocket instead of using it to purchase bandwidth.

Bittorrent can be used to download those free software that are large in file sizes, while PPStream is only for watching videos.

P2P is free and it does allow those open source software developers to cut cost in hosting their projects. Without P2P, those software developers may end up charging the users for downloading the software even though it is open source.

And, some games do use P2P also.

So, P2P should not be throttled at all. If really want to throttle, throttle PPStream is enough since I don't use it. But, if they do so, it will prove me that my paid money has gone into someone's pocket.

Added on August 5, 2010, 6:30 pmAgain, if you share your internet connection with someone who use PPS and it affect you very much, don't be so tolerate with that person, set your router to block that person or limit his/her speed without acknowledging him/her if he/she refuse to limit the speed.

what if we are under hostel?can i secretly go secretly go reset the router? ._.

this is kinda pathetic rite? we all are happy to get the speed that we DESERVE. man.. this is sad
