LOL im downloading Mkv file.. speed only around 50max and lowest 15.. and its not stable.. i tot its because of the ip.. reset connection... speedtest (OK) then redownload.. speed jump to 150 then sudden drop to 30kb... LOL... i confirm with vapeace.. he said test rar.. rename the file into other type.. speed bump to max 230. LOL.. TM so stupid.. WTH are they thinking... i think the trotle is being done using recognizing the file extension. without it speed is max. the contents of the file is not check. for torrent they maybe just update new software... so its block the seed. anyway... for mkv untrotle.. where (the server) did you try download? pls state. coz they can impose this rule on certain hoster IP. so it would help vapeace

errr... TM cannot trotle unifi.. coz it sole pupose is for media entertaiment... the hypoiptv wont work well it they trotle... and its like trying to kill the service itself if the trotle is imposed on the unifi.. maybe they trotle us (normal package) to push more people into unifi... XD who knows? TMnut..

Unifi is difference... if they trotle the service is worthless... maybe Tm nut is trying hard to make sure UniFi user "Happy" with what they pay.. so us the "abused customer" take the burden. actualy TM still not ready to handle high bandwith media n application which other country already done.

i like this.... TMnut and all other ISP they only think about profit.. not on how to improve the service... almost all isp in malaysia... whether its cable or wireless, all suck.. for me Jaring is the only ISP is dedicated to improve but being push by this profit hungry ISP. so what can do..

ya i know.. rm30 is expensive if you think directly.. but i have been using DLnext.. the support is good.. and how would you think a low tech guy like me to setup and manage all this script.. support if the server offline.. all other thing.. plus.. the script add premium acc to it... just for rm30 you get rapidshare, megaupload, netload, and others.. go check la. if i calculated 39usd per year is around rm128 per year. plus rapidshare premium.. all that.. how much it will be.. dlnext is only charge you rm30... and for me i shared with my family.. coz im not using it always. if 3 people shared.. rm10 only.. think about how hard to get the script running.. with the changing interface of the download site... you get a ready to use.. easy and manageable... im not promoting... coz im too dont want to many people in DLnext... if you have time... then setup the server... sold it like what DLnext.. and who knows.. you will be using unifi for free...

try use google public DNS... i think its quite good.. coz openDNS lately have that stupid bugs.... blocking something that we dont even set.

the outcome is same... its just that highspeed inet with low caps of bandwith limit.. is a stupid idea... speedy internet is used to download large data... a good or low ping.. is good for onlinegames and IP-based phone.

i think its time we burn the HQ for the TMnut server... or ask hacker to shiit the server that handle this stupid throttling software

how about people download legal video? i mean itunes.. ect... we pay ma... haiz... even only 1%... they would protest more then us.

Torrenting is the old days type of file sharing.. because torrent use large amount of data in it header and waste a lot of bandwith... plus the need to upload and fill the share ratio also will congested the already bad line.. i have stop torrenting and moved to paid DDL or MIRC download for certain fansub contents. a lil bit charge on youself wont kill you... help your self... you will help others too. TMnet will always find a way to trottle torrents. so get a new life.. stop torrents use DDL or other method that not need us to leave our PC over night just to upload file that is not need to upload. btw torrent also depends on peer which, if the seed is low then the speed is slow too. in DDL only 1 server is enuf to get full speed if the server is fast. you can get constant speed with less waste and no need to upload.

seriously.. i realy hate caps.. because nowdays file arent getting smaller.. im not talking about piracy thing.. i would just take linux iso.. that some time can reach 8GB. now with bluray comming, some paid movie sites offers HD video download which file size almost half of the bluray disc. for me, if the caps are on, i could not download my podcast from itunes. cannot watch youtube in HD to avoid waste. i know this because i have been using maxis n wimax which all use this stupid caps system. whereas the speed and perfomance are not much better its makes the internet dificult when we reach the caps. as all of us know... website now are filled with multimedia things. JPG, GIF, video, flash. all of this consume our bandwith.. some times windows update also eat alot. even pop ups some times use video streaming... pls think in more detail about cap vs throttle.

did you check you line condition? i mean ur attenuation and SNR margin. you can check this in ur modem page under DSL statistics.
