There goes again.

TM smart ideas of paving business opportunities for others to make money again out of their weaknesses in making strategic dumb decisions.

Each time cronies make decisions they'll allow a backdoor for their own people to exploit them and earn money from behind.

Elektrik sudah naik la here in Perak.

Hari Raya coming. People are suddenly getting more active when it comes to cari makan as the festive season approaches.
So expect to be more careful on the road and stay home more often.

mungkin TM plan dalam diam utk migrate Streamyx user to Unifi, reason = 'u nak speed laju u boleh pilih pakage unifi', selepas ramai streamyx convert to Unifi then nightmare begin, TM mungkin akan aply apa yang dibuat untuk  Streamyx ke Unifi (Throttle/Cap)
*
Migrate apa?

Limited in service areas.

Takkan la just these few areas makan semua Streamyx punya subscribers bandwidth in the whole country.

Where is the fair usage policy involve?

Every year seems to be the same.

Either these idiots never learn even after many years of making the same mistake or they enjoy waking up to do upgrades only when festive season approaches.

It couldn't be that bad when festive season somehow the network gets so overloaded. Even so they should have expected that after years of the same reoccuring problem.

Or they are just plain stupid to choose such times to do upgrades.

It's like choosing the peak traffic jam hours to repair a road instead of in the early hours in the morning when there's no car at all.

can anyone list out the ip that has been throttle ?
*
The only IP range which I guess is not being throttled at this moment are those of Unifi's which starts with 110.159.xx.xx

Even the premium 218.211.xx and 175 ranges have not been spared.

175 definitely kena throttled. but i got some luck with 115 ip, sometimes can still get max with u.t.orrent.

So where have all the bandwidth went?

We pay for our monthly subscription too but not getting equal treatment.

Everybody do this
run Proxomitron for every single connection.

according to some test, it will overload TM's shaping server easily but normal connection unaffected. 1-2 ppl do it less effect if everyone do it, Tm have to shut down their shaping server else they loss millions smile.gif (Just make them pay)

Note: remember to set Headers -> User Agent to one of something there or you add your own. e.g. Mozilla/4.61 [ja] (X11; I; Linux.FxxK.TMNUT i686) at outbound connection only.

They should not touch something which is not broken.

Introducing P2P shaping servers will cripple their network further. It's a just a marketing gimmick which bottlenecks their network making them lose more customers.

Other than Malaysia only countries such as Iran, Saudi Arabia and those backward countries buy into such propositions. China does to but they were the ones who manufactured it.
Those were also the countries who wanted to screen through all their Blackberry users giving RIM a big headache!
