Simple way to maximize profit it use the less resource to gain most profit. How? As simple as, I got 100 parking lots, I will issue 120 parking sticker. Why? Not everyone going to park at the same time. When it does happen that the 101th people go to park and claim there are not enough slot for him/her, he complain. The Management will say, OK, we will look into the matter.
So The Management introduce something like, make the parking box smaller, to squeeze more car. (Throttling) Bigger car say NOT enough space for his car.
So in later time, The Management will do something like, every car can only park 8 hours/day (quota).
So if they get another 20 more parking box, they will gonna get another 10~20 more customer, they will not give 1 car for 1 slot. Unless you are paying premium price. Then The Management will put a "Reserve" sign on your parking slot.
Business is all about profit, they will try to satisfy majority of the customer, and it will always be minor people that will complain.
i dunno what kind of business u running or what kind of parking lot u got around ur place, but the area where i work, the parking lot will put out a sign "CARPARK FULL" at the entrance when all the space is taken up. And that should be how u run a business, not luring people inside ur parking lot with empty promises of a parking space. If not enuf space to cater, stop admitting customer. If u are customer, u go into such parking lot, go round n round, no fuking empty lot, u mad or not?? next time still go to tat parking lot?? same case tm, if not enuf bandwidth to support the demand, might as well stop taking customer. Dun go embark on their media campaign, with all their big advertising board beside the highway with tagline like "No.1 [B]choice[

of malaysians" when we dun really get to do much choosing in the first place. i LOLed when i saw all these boards.
