so they're gonna end the season just like that?
killing the best character(after being promoted from most hated character) right at the last minute?

Hanamonogatari will be aired later in 2014.
Killing characters? Nisio always did that to his characters, may they be main or supporting characters. Anyway, all characters in Monogatari were never meant to be supporting though.

aired meaning new season? since the one for this season is already marked as finale. if hanamonogatari is just around 3-4 chapter why the hell didn't they just put it in this season instead of all the recap episode?

No super power, just his wit and his knowledge, but capable of defeating gods.

Nope. The format will be the same as Nekomonogatari Kuro as Hanamonogatari is still one of second season entries.
About the recap, well, shaft is just being lazy I supposed, even though they got this lame excuse to provide some relaxation time for the staff lol
If someone confuse here, Hanamonogatari is supposedly aired right after kabuki, according to the order of the books published. But since the plot is too advanced in timeline, they decided to delay the broadcast, and fill those gaps with the recaps.

The arc is set after Araragi Koyomi has graduated from highschool.
The 3rd season entries (Tsukimonogatari, Koyomimonogatari, Owarimonogatari 1-2) are set before the graduation.

The best adaptation in SS so far. Good pacing and not rushed like Kabuki and Oni.
Yeah, this has to be the most faithful adaptation for the SS entries so far.
