finally set up the asus RT-N13U to replace the stupid dlink unifi router. However, didn't realize that the LAN ports of the N13U are 10/100 only and not gigabit.. Not that is a big deal but just wished i had read the thing properly.

Running 2 8port gigabit switches between the back-end (study room) and front-end (tv rack) and 4 other cat6 connections to other rooms..

The STB will boot up, go to channel 098, display the channel for a few seconds and then just freeze up... Unifi tech are also dumbfounded.. They've changed the BTU, router and STB twice and the problem is still there..

Same here. using firmware 8.22.2.3 from KLSEET website for unifi configuration. The router will hang after one day running.. have to keep rebooting it to get it working.

same problem here.. can we highlight this up to Asus tech team?

ok, i just found out that the router hanging issue will only occur if i have my main pc on for a period of time (around 5-6 hours). It's the only other pc connected via LAN to the router. Don't know what is wrong as it is the router freezing up and not the main pc. Other wifi connected laptops are also not able to access the admin menu or go online.

updated to RT-N13U.RB_2.0.2.5g firmware.. seems that the disconnection issue is more frequent with this firmware. Used to be once a day the router will hang.. now it's more frequent.. around few hours.

my RT-N13U asus router with RT-N13U.RB_2.0.2.5g is freaking unstable. Every couple hours it will hang and have to do unplug and plug back to work. Can't even access webui.

I think i have a lemon set and will take it back to the shop for warranty. Can they 1 to 1 exchange it or do i have to wait few months for them to change?
